Hi forum mates, hope you could enlighten me about my case. Medyo nagulat lang ako kasi i wasn't expecting this to happened. Here's the scenario:

Kahapon lang po namen na received yung medical request from CEM, then just a day ago nag check po ko ng pregnancy test kasi im 1 month delayed na and it turns out yung result po is positive(+). So meaning buntis ako. Were not expecting this since were mindset na, na makakaalis na kame this year but then binigyan pa rin kame another blessing from god. My question is this. May chance po ba na makaalis kame even if,let say im 4-6 months pregnant na? or hihintayin talaga manganak ako dito sa Pinas? Is there a case po ba na napaalis na yung applicant even nasa ganung stage na sya ng pregnancy kasi plan nmen makaalis kame by June (if god willing). Medyo curios lang ako about my situation kasi naglalaro sa isip ko baka hintayin pa ng CEM manganak ako saka nila ako bigyan ng visa. Hope you could give me some insights about this. Congrats sa inyo...buntis dn wife ko nung dumating med request namin pero nsa 2nd trimester na sya. Di sila nag e X-Ray during the first trimester kc delikado sa baby. Sa 2nd trimester pwd na daw pero nung mag papa X-Ray na Kmi ayaw mag X-Ray ng clinic so we had to wait na manganak si misis para ma X-ray sya. Kausapin nyo na lng OB nyo kung ano ma advise nya...

First congratulations on another addition to your family. ;D ;D ;D

Now - since pregnant ka, then your CXR (Chest Xray) na part of the IME may be deferred, so hindi matatapos ang IME. Non-completion of IME, non-completion of the medical admissibility checks, and likely deferred ito until after delivery. Now, you have to declare and update the application to include the new-born in the application - dadaan ito sa processing again. Hindi kasi transferrable ang eligibility ng parents sa mga anak na hindi declared in the immigration application - all dependents will have to be inspected for their eligibility to immigrate. Also, any change in family composition before landing (i.e. birth of child, any death in the family, dependents, applicants etc.) - your VO/CIC needs to be notified.

All in all, deferment ng IME (for any other valid reasons aside from pregnancy) - means delay in the completion of the processing of the application. So, delayed din ang issuance ng CoPR and visa, if positive ang outcome ng immigration application. Mas malamang na patapusin ang pregnancy and have the child born, before i-resume ang IME and i-issue ang mga visa at CoPR.

Me cases na nakaalis akong alam, pero - the pregnancy happened/was discovered AFTER the completion of the IME and applicants landed before the child was born. In that case, CXR and IME was completed BEFORE the discovery of pregnancy. That was long ago - medyo mabilis pa ang process at that time. Nowadays - with the processing times getting longer and longer, chances are mas malaki that the pregnancy will be carried through the full-term before completion of the IME.

I'd advise to talk to a gyne/ob, get opinions on the pros/cons of having an Xray at this stage of the pregnancy. Be informed, then discuss this with the PP when your IME comes. Ask if there are safe/alternative choices aside from the CXR to complete the IME and what are options other than a CXR to complete the IME.

Nakalagay dyan - Section 4.6.1 if the client chooses to defer her chest x-ray (CXR) because of pregnancy - which can be read as the client has a choice. However, note the PP also can override a choice of the applicant not to defer if the safety of the unborn child as well as of the mother will be compromised by undergoing an Xray.

Its just that medyo nagulat lang kame kasi its been 2 years we've been married na nagttry kame then all of a sudden eto na kaboom sumabay pa sya sa medical namen. anyways,thank you much tlga sir. Hi! Me too, I had my pregnancy before receiving our Medical Request. I had my initial medical exam and personally deferred the X-ray, I don't want to take the risk kasi of having it done kahit na nasa last trimester na ko nun After more than a month of giving birth dun lang ako nakapag pa X-ray. Meaning, hangga't hindi pa ko nakakapanganak, hindi nag mo move yung application kasi naka hold pa nga yung medical, hindi pa ma forward sa CEM since it's incomplete.

I notified the embassy that I was pregnant then and deferred the X-ray. Inemail ko din sa kanila yung binigay sa akin ni St. Luke's para ma inform sila na tapos na ko sa other tests. After you gave birth, notify the CIC & CEM and they will send you a Medical Request as well for your baby. Physical Exam lang naman. My baby had hers yesterday lang. CEM will email you and ask you to submit an additional family information form for you and your husband.

Hi, criselda_0808, just to want to say na isa rin ako na nag- aantay ng pinakakaasam natin na aor.
I sent my application last sept 22 and received by cio sept 26 and till now no aor received.
Napakahirap talaga ang mag-antay ng matagal, pero ako punong puno pa din ng pag- asa na matanggap din namin yun this January or kung hindi ngayun in God's time.

Ang worry ko lang baka ma expire yung payment namin in bank draft, included na din kasi ang payment namin para sa rprf. ( yun kasi advise ng sponsor ko na i include na din ang rprf fee kagaya ng ginawa nila), may mga nabasa kasi ako 6 months valid lang yung bank draft.tinanong ko ang bank kung san kami ngpagawa ng bank draft kung malalaman ba nila kung na encashed na sabi nman nila in their part ok na, pero need pa daw mgbayad para macheck nila sa bank in canada kung na encashed na ng cio.
Pero di ko na riin itinuloy na tanungin kung na encashed kasi another payment na naman.

I pray na dumating na aor nating lahat this January, don't lose hope just pray. God bless us all!
