hi,

Did the same - inquired around the courier and asked CEM to formally explain COURIER COLLECT. No answers. We did discuss that before:
http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/-t93206.0.html;msg2196371#msg2196371

So far mixed results with COURIER COLLECT. A couple of us had our PPs returned via DHL without any added payment. I recall some members in the MidEast (those who are working in the MidEast but had VO as CEM) got theirs returned as well without any other additional payment. Mine was sent back to Canada via DHL but no other payment/courier fees were charged.

Nevertheless, it would be the responsibility of CEM to send you back the PPs to you your designated return address. If the address is outside of the country, then via CEM's designated courier (usually DHL) - the courier should contact you before the delivery to inform you of charges.

thanks so much ragluf...

How many days po kaya bago bumalik ang passport from CEM?

Thanks.

iba-iba nantzlei....nag base po ako sa timelines nina olanzky, tweety & liyapot.....shows from the date of submission ng passport sa CEM-VO...kay olanzky ay 1 week & 4 days.....tweety ay 3 weeks....and liyapot ay 3 weeks & 5 days.

for me, i always expect to the maximum....we will be submitting our passports on monday/9 sept at aasahan ko na lang na babalik ng 9 oct....

Oo nga masmaganda ngang wag nalang magexpect na mabilis para di masyadong stressful. Ang importante eh babalik yung passport with the visa ;D

yung sa amin dahil kami ang 1st batch na inabutan ng IELTS (meaning, nung na received namin ang AOR ay merong additional document na IELTS nga) ay inabot ng 3.5 months (from AOR to LOA)....pero kung pagbabasihan naman ay from the date ng IELTS submission to LOA ay mga 2 months lang.

AOR received - 31 July
IELTS submitted - 7 Sept.
LOA received - 12 Nov.

To the Seniors in this site,

May I ask a question about medical examination and police certificate. For the medical examination, it says "You must have a medical exam before you come to Canada. Your family members must also have one, even if they are not coming with you."

For the police certificate, it says " To immigrate to Canada, you and any family members 18 years of age and older must provide police certificates to the visa office if asked to do so."

I read the above from the CIC website.

May I ask if it is really necessary to provide medical exam and police certificate of my mother, my brother, my sister in law and my nephews even though they are not coming with me and it is only me that is applying for permanent residency. I am not yet married as of this writing so I do have any dependents yet.

Your clarification on the above will be highly appreciated.

Thank you.

Regards,

Forever Victory

hello, they were saying FAMILY as in your DECLARED DEPENDENTS, if you do not have any dependents then it is only you who will go for the medical examination and obtain NBI clearance

Hi everyone. I'm not sure if this is the right thread for me but I'm really desperate, I need your help. :( I'm trying to answere my PR application forms, kaya lang I'm stuck so I have a couple of questions. Pls sana may mag help..
1. Schedule A (IMM5669)
> Type of certificate or diploma issued, Field of study ( what did u type under secondary kase high school un diba)
> Typing NONE, each box ba un?

2. If I don't have dependents and representative do I still need to print the form and type Not applicable?

3. Submitting copy of my ielts, dapat ba notarized?

4. MPNP letter, photopy lang ba? Notarized?

5. Do I need to write Not applicable or N/A sa lahat ng box? Nag aanswer kase ako PDF, what if di allowed I enter ang N/A, I handwrite ko ba?

Pls, hope somebody answers. Thanks in advance everyone. :)
