April 2012 - Took IELTS (pass), Send all docs for PNP ONT
Oct 2012 - Received Nomination for Pilot reduction program
Dec 6, 2012 - Send nomination package to CIO, Sydney
Dec 12 2012 - Received nomination by CIO
Nov 22, 2012 - Received invitation for OWP
Jan 28, 2013 - AOR (complete)
Feb 20, 2013 - MR
Mar 15, 2013 - MR done
Apr 8, 2013 - Verify at IOM not yet submitted to CEM
ECAS - Application received Dec 12, 2013
April 16, 2013---medical submitted to CEM
April 17, 2013--request to pay RPRF
April 22, 2013 --- RPRF received by CEM
May 2, 2013 --- encashed the bank draft (BPI) as payment for RPRF
until now my ECAS "Application received on December 12, 2012..

May 2013 ------ thru GOD PRAYER ( PPR) soooonnn...

Yes it is quite a test of patience to wait. And one of the purposes of this thread is to give others a venue to vent their frustration.

But think of this from the group where I came from - Dec 2011/Jan 2012 - in that thread, there are still many of those who have complied with medical exams, have medicals expired, have been requested to repeat their medical exams, and until now still are waiting with no change in eCAS. Some of them are quite surprised and often comment compared to their VOs, CEM is faster. Others are contemplating filing a suit. Others are calling up their MPs.

Be positive in the fact that you have complied and have submitted everything that was requested of you, and that nothing is pending. This wait, unfortunately, is typical for most applicants, and status updates are different for each applicant.

Wala pa nagbago sa akin still Application received without any additional word..Inisip ko na lang na malalaki na mga kids ko..20, 18, 16, 13.. so seguro dumadaan sila sa strict na checking...kaya medyo tumatagal..kasi my 2 kids already required to get NBI..so seguro background check dadaanan nila...kung mapansin mo yong mga ibang single sandali lang kasi walang masyadong background checking....same also sa mga anak nila bata pa without any NBI clearance pa..

wala bang progress for medical results have been received sa status mo?
yung sa akin kasi since January pa Application received. then May 5 nagkaron additional line but status did not change...

nakakaiyak ng talaga. sa office nga they already formed a team. nag training na sila for possible turnover ko. mabuti na lang i have been open to everybody since the time nag transfer ako until dun sa exam ng ielts last year and each progress in the application. mabuti na lang yung boss ko open minded sa ganitong situation. everthing falls in proper places....pero hindi ang ppr sa ngayon.

wag ka na maiyak...ako din wag na. imagine those who had their chances for another visa na hindi naman fit for their purpose...mas nakakaiyak yun. once dumating na ppr...ini-imagine ko na lang....the red carpet will roll...and the sea will open up...for the shores of canada...welcoming us...

yun lang baka iceberg yung madaanan natin...smile...each day is a new day...kahit inip na inip na din ako...

hi, can anyone help me, nagpasa po kami ng 2nd visa application sa CIO Nova Scotia last April 25, 2013 and nareceived nila nun May 1, 2013. Until now no reply from CIO, medyo kinakabahan na po kami kasi un first application namin binalik kasi lack of info sa behalf ng spouse ko. eto po un timeline namin, thanks

pwede ko kaya e check sa CEM kung talagang andon na MEDICAL KO, kasi last April 15, 2013 pa daw submit ng IOM and medical namin ng family ko..pero wala pa din sa ecas ko....ako nga parang ayaw ko na mag check sa ecas...parang gusto ko weekly na lang ako check...kasi ako may agency ako na CIC...saan kaya ipapadala ang PPR sa CIC or sa email ko? kasi ang RPRF request sa CIC agency nila pinadala then the CIC agency called me up that they received email from CEM for the payment of RPRF...

my experience is
we had our medicals at IOM on April 9, I called up IOM after one week to check kung na submit na nila, they told me hindi pa daw and asked me to call again the next day. I called up April 18 and they told me na submit na daw nila sa CEM ng April 17. Nag medicals received ang ecas ko ng May 2.
right after we had our medicals done, I sent CEM an email informing them that we had our medicals already and I attached a copy of the OR from IOM, that way, alam ko na malalaman nila na tapos na kami sa mga requirements namin. wala na silang hihintayin sa akin.
