Thanks Ragluf,,just now i went to the Philippine Embassy to take the NBI form, as soon as we have the finger printing i'll send to one of my representative back home to lodge my NBI application i understand it will take some time to release the NBI result to avoid any delay once PPR comes...Many thanks of your input it reaaly help us a lot...GBU more!!!

BPinoy,

In hindsight, I just re-read your message and saw you already have your MR and RPRF; if you were requested these without the need for the new NBI well then, your SA PCC may have sufficed. I am just wondering as typically requests for additional docs like PCCs are included with or come with the MR or RPRF. Being asked to pay RPRF is to me an indication that background checks have been progressing - and if you needed added security checks, you should have received notice for updated NBI at the time of MR/RPRF.

The sigurista in me tells me to advise you to proceed with getting the NBI cert, to save on time should it be needed/requested by CEM. It (NBI cert) may not be needed at the end, but then we cannot be certain - CEM works in mysterious ways.... :D

/all the best...

Hi,

If ever you get delayed - upon follow-up remind SLEC of the guidelines for transmitting IME results to the RMO (Regional Medical Office) as per DMP handbook.

Thanks. If no additional tests were asked, does it mean that everything had a normal result? Should I expect that SLEC would forward our docs to CEM?

Hello to senior members,

We received our medical request and RPRF request recently.

We are planning to pay the RPRF in Canadian dollars by getting a bank draft in one of the banks here in Hong Kong. Our visa office is in Manila, just want to verify whether we need to send the bank draft to:

Embassy of Canada in Manila
P.O. Box 2168
Makati Central Post Office
Philippines 1261

To those of you who know can you confirm?

Thanks.

It does not literally mean "normal result" - it means no other medical tests need to be done/recommended to get more information or to give a complete picture of the medical status of the applicant as per the immigration requirements. Some cases, additional tests are ordered as the initial MEs were not sufficient enough (additional xrays scans, etc.) to provide a clear evaluation. If you were not requested for additional medical tests, then as soon as your medical file is complete it should be forwarded to the RMO as per the DMP service standards timelines. Still, not being asked for additional medical tests is a very good sign.

Note that final determination of your medicals will be done at the RMO (Regional Medical Office); the DMP is the agent tasked to implement the medical examination requirements for immigration. It is fortunate that Manila also has an RMO, so medical results do not need to be sent outside of the PH for applications in CEM.

Many thanks Ragluf- yup i have already my MR and RPRF without requesting additional documents. I track the AWB about the RPRF and it shows delivered yesterday as well as the result of my MR from the affiliated hospital here in SA.

Thanks for your advice, on Sat i'll be processing our NBI fingerprinting here in Phil embassy with my wife to save on time once they requested. I hope and pray PPR comes sooooonnnn....God Bless!!!

Hindi pa yata eh.. Nagpapa inquire ako sa friend ko who works for the bank pero busy pa sya at nalilimutan nya :) nag remind na ako sa kanya kanina kukulitin ko na hahah

Guys,
Today ang renewal namin ng passport sa dfa. Ipapa rush ko na lang para 7 days processing lang.

Kababayans, I need ur expertise regarding my concern.I am set to lodge an application for MPNP but is also concerned on these matter:
1.My husband has overstayed in the US for almost two years and is working as a caregiver.
2.Would it be proper, to declare his current status? I have read from forums that there were several cases of illegal aliens in the US who were granted PR visa in Canada.
3.What is the best possible plan of action which will not result to the refusal of my application as the principal applicant.

I am a professional here in the Philippines and has a solid experience in teaching and food service mgt.My husband is a skilled worker and has worked for the USACE in Iraq for six years before deciding to go to the US.
