Timeline after submission on the new PR confirmation portal

None. However, my husband received an email notification last November 4 that a new PR confirmation case was created under his Permanent Residence Portal account.

Mine is August 18.

Is there maximum time for this waiting? Can we wait 1 year more?

I have called them more than 20 times and send more than 50 emails, still no response.

They don't really know. They just hope people are following the rules.

The only time I have heard of people getting a response is the IRCC saying "wait". I think they are very behind now because of Afghans etc.

Omg ! That really sucks. I did miss my first portal email and had to ask them to send me a fresh link a month after which they did. Ever since I replied to the second link they have been ghost. I don’t think it is related but definitely strange.

As long as the photo is not the one where u have previously submitted on your PR application, they techically won't but they make you declare that it is so just follow the rules

I received my eCOPR the same day that I logged into the system. However, I uploaded my photo and confirmed my address on 13-Sep and have not heard anything back. 2 months appears long, but apparently it is common in Ontario? Thoughts?
