Seems like this gentleman don’t know even what flag polling. So in this process you have to leave and enter in canada again so obviously they gonna stamp your passport. However because of covid they can not conduct flag polling in person so they started virtual flag polling by means of PR confirmation portal. So if this gentleman did the flag polling mean that date was his last date as enter in canada which he has to mention in portal email. You just need to mention date and port of entry last time you entered canada. If last time you entered canada is when you did flag polling then mention it.
Guys if you are not sure or you have doubt. Please dont give suggestions to anyone. It can lead them in some serious immigration problems.you do not need to mention flagpole date if they did not put any stamp or date on your passport when you went for flagpole. IRCC can access records from CBSA. Irrespective of Stamp in passport, mention the date and port of entry. Not all port of entry stamp the passport so it can be tricky. I would suggest look up your inbox for tickets which will give you an idea about your last port of entry.I don't have any stamp on my passport for the last entry into the country. But I know the date. Still will they have the record of it ?
Raised this question since they have asked to mention the last entry date in email.
Thanks for the response. Good to know that they will have the proper dates from their end already. So whatever we are sending in the PR confirmation email is just for cross reference.IRCC can access records from CBSA. Irrespective of Stamp in passport, mention the date and port of entry. If you entered via USA, then you can check the exit from i94 form https://i94.cbp.dhs.gov/I94/#/recent-search
I would not say it this way. If there is discrepancy then it may lead to delays in issuing your eCOPR. Make sure you give them correct information. Thanks for the response. Thank youIf your last entry was your flagpoling date then you need to mention it, but if you went out of canada later and returned only that date is required. They have clearly mentioned original entry date and last time entered canada. Hope this helps.
