Hi this is Ruhi
i am in india and my husband is in canada
my husband applied for PR in Feb-2009 also added my name in his file
we got our medical letter in last week of july 2010
we both have done with medical formalities
now waiting for PR
I am not sure about the next step: will it be an interview or call for PR stamp

One and half passed that we both are not living with each other only because of Canadian visa stamp on my passport.please reply.
when we will get PR

Well...in my view, u should be getting it anytime before 15 september 2010. These days under fast track, it takes around 15 days to process the PPR letter..if no issue in medicals. That happened in my case. But again case to case basis and at the discretion of VO.

:)thanks asyousuf wsj78
my husband had deposited the fee 490+490 for both of us in the first week of September

thanks

As per my knowledge.. $490 would be enough for all of you?? Correct me if I am wrong.

CAD 490 per person...If applied to London, than need to send it to London only

asyousuf, how much time do they give you to land once they issue the visa? it seems like you can wait for more than 6 months.

As per law, one year after the date of medical examinations.

I had my medicals on 19 June 2010 but visas issued on 24th August 2010. As a general rule of which ever is earlier, due to early expiry of passports i.e.24 May 2011, i have to do the landing before that date. If my passport were expiring in July 2011, my visa would have remained valid till 18 June 2011.
