i’m May 10, 2019 applicant, they just passed my medical!!! They extended the medical from my asylum clami in 2017 and today it was updated to passed medical on december 18, 2020. Anyone know what the next steps should be according to the latest trends for May applicant especially?
@Mom31

I believe they extend medical when you passed eligibility & criminality. Wait your DM and be optimistic

Wow good to know!! But mine was extended from the very beggining of the application and now they passed it, i ordered my gcms notes about a month ago and it said medical expired but i guess they extended and passed it now, so hopefully that means dm is coming next (no eligibility letter yet)

Hi Guys, 12dec I got eligibility passed letter and asked my overseas dependent forms and supporting documents to send Singapore VO within 90days I am preparing and waiting for PCC for my wife. My question is when can I expect DM and COPR is their any connection of my COPR with my dependent visa application to VO?

No, AIP is basically to inform you that you passed eligibility but you still need to pass background check (criminality and security) and/or medical etc...

In my case I think I passed all of them at once or a few days apart so they didn’t need to send me AIP.

I’m waiting for the message that says something like, “your application has been transferred to Etobicoke office, we will contact you soon...” idk what is the name of this message but yeah that’s what I meant when I said “approval letter”.

From what I heard and based on my friends’ experiences, There are two scenarios:

scenario A:
1- AIP
2- DM
3- The message to inform you your application is transferred to the (Etobicoke, Oakville, etc... ) office.
4- CoPR
5- PR Card

scenario B:
1- DM
2- The message to inform you your application is transferred to the (Etobicoke, Oakville, etc... ) office.
3- CoPR
4- PR Card

it’s different for each person but most of the people I know had either scenario A or B.
When you get an email that you passed eligibility it means AIP?

On the online account, this letter is titled APPROVAL. It states your application has been completed which means a DECISION HAS BEEN MADE. Once you get this letter when you check your status using the online tool most times your status is Decision Made.
"This refers to the Application for Permanent Residence you made under the Protected Person in Canada class. We are pleased to advise you that processing of your application has been completed. The IRCC office in (office close to you) will contact you regarding the finalization of your permanent resident application."

Hello Guys,
in my last call IRCC they told me that I passed medical, background(both security and Criminality) and Eligibility and that the next step in my application is the final decision. when I check my account, it only shows that I passed medical but all other things are still showing pending. Also, I noticed when my online account shows (account/application update) I never receive a notification.

So my question is if its normal that I got all of these passed and not showing in my online account.

Thanks
