Hello everyone, I need some advice. I got an email from IRCC that they need some additional documents and police clearance. I was in Malaysia before came to Canada. I'm not able to apply for police clearance because I don't have valid passport or travel documents. I contacted with high commission of Malaysia. They asking for a refugee travel document. I applied for a travel document last May but there is no update. Any suggestions about this situation?

You can write an Email to IRCC to explain your situation also ensure to Include your emails and their answer as evidence in your letter that you have attempted to get the doc they ask for, and also show that you applied for your Travel document and still waiting, and also ask Malaysia what else you can provide as proof to get the info you need from them. if they still cannot help IRCC will most time understand but you have to just show you tried everything to get what they ask for , and write a clear leter and show proof.

Maybe someone else on here has a better idea and can guide you better.

good luck
