i received my IELTS result online yesterday.now i am waiting for my test report to arrive by post .my question is
should i ask british council to dispatch my result electronically to the college that i am applying (this was free of charge before the exam but it is now rs 250 per college).what should i do ..should i go ahead with it (ill receive my IELTS test report anyhow by post )..will it create a differnece in authentication etc

Institutes can verify your score online so its okay to send them ielts score yourself. Every applicant has a specific code.. British council and idp provide embassy and colleges with online tools to check for fraudulent ielts candidates. So relax. Some institutes specifically wants the score to be sent to them, so for those u may pay for report be sent. For other colleges, u can scan and email... or send attested copy by mail.

thanks for ur reply but i am applying in seneca and centennial .i dont think they should have an issue with that ..so ill not ask british council for this task .ill myself scan the score card and send it
