Property on your dad's name will not help even though you are an only child..... if you have the legal authority to represent your dad for this property then it can help to some extent.

You must show strong ties of your own (employment/financial investments/family, etc)

Hi Bryanna! Is inforced investment and life insurance policy can be included as proof as country ties?

You can submit it as proof of financial investments.... ties to the home country must be stronger than this

Hi Kylie,

No, the birth certificates of your siblings will not be sufficient.

Do some/all of your siblings live with your mom? Are any of them dependent on your mom (financially or for their well-being)? Do they have kids who your mom takes care of? Or your grandparents?

What documents will your mom show for her employment and financial situation? How long has she been working at her current employment?

Does your mom own property or land? Or have rental accommodation in her name?

Does your mom have any other responsibilities or commitments aside of her family or work?

Has your mom traveled abroad earlier?

Cheers

hi bryanna,

Thank you for your response. My mom has work , she has land title in her name and my two nieces is staying with her because there are both studying...they are dependent on my mom. How can i prove that? Affidavit? Schools credentials of the two?

Thank you so much for enlighting me to this matter.

Hi Kylie,

For your mom's employment:
Her employment letter + 6 months payslips + Income Tax Returns + leave approval letter from her employer stating she'll have her job when she returns + 6 months bank statement showing the salary is credited to her bank account

For the land title:
Purchase Agreement /documents showing the land is freehold/leased to your mom + assessment by a Chartered Accountant (as per the current market rates) + if for example, she intends to use the land to construct a house (then any government approvals/building plans) or for agriculture (then similar evidence)

For your two nieces:
Temporary Guardianship Letter from your sibling (parent of your nieces) + School documents showing they live with your mom/school fee receipt + a 1-2 lines explanation as to who will take care of your nieces when your mom is away

Cheers :)
