Hi, I live in the Philippines and I want to go to canada to be with my fiance and child. We are planning to get married in canada and eventually apply for spousal sponsorship.

My question is:

1. Is a car loan enough as a tie to home country?
2. I have work here with 2 years fixed term contract but I am going to resign when my Visa is approved. Can I still use my work contract during visa application?

Thank you for your answers!

1. Generally you need more. A car loan isn't a tie. Ties are generally things like full time employment, property ownership, bank account / assets. You'll also want to show that you have sufficient savings to pay for the trip. Also it will be very helpful if you have previous travel to countries requiring visas.
2. Yes

Hi, thank you for this. I have a visitor visa from korea way back 2018. I have around 5000-6000 CAD in my bank account right now for a 1 month trip, do you think I have a chance?

I think the chances are probably on the low side. But give it a try.
