Ticket/Transfer system in Ottawa

Can anyone please explain ticket/transfer system in Ottawa? I heard we can use ticket/transfer in return trip as well?

And where we can buy tickets/transfers??? At the malls?

Dunno about Ottawa, but in Toronto you can use the same bus/transit ticket for around 90-120 minutes and in Vancouver you can use the same bus/transit ticket for 90-100 minutes. So if you can make a return journey within that timescale, well and good. Ottawa should be the same I guess.
