My husband and I met each other back in 2004 through a mutual friend within the ranks of the Rebel Alliance while we fought back the Imperial scum on the virtual planets Tatooine and Corellia.

We met in person about a year later when a bunch of friends from our Star Wars Galaxies guild decided to get together for a weekend in Vegas. We didn't start dating until 2008 and we were married earlier this year.

Most of our time was spent together online in SWG, then World of Warcraft, Lord of the Rings Online, and most recently, Star Trek Online.

We met on Club Pogo. lol We were both members of a league and were not looking. I was stuck in really awful marriage an he had given up on finding love. Needless to say I got my divorce pronto and 3 pls years later we married. (with visits in between of course) Never been so happy in my life,I feel like this is my first marriage.

I moved to Russia for a 1.5yr work assignment and prior to moving there I wrote on a Facebook group page about the city and one beautiful girl responded. I eventually met her 8 months after moving there (wish it was much sooner but I was busy with work and she was in previous relationship). We just hit it off, spent a few months together and just new we were meant for each other and have NEVER felt so happy with someone. I proposed, we married in Russia, honeymoon in Spain and 1 month later I moved back...

We're currently 2 months into the process and hoping she will land in Feb. sometime ))))

My boyfriend was new to Toronto over 2 years and saw me on a girls friend list (someone he dated before) and added me. We started chatting, messaging each other and finally I invited him over to watch a movie. Looking back it was crazy I invited someone from the internet over to my condo but I just had a good feeling about him. We didnt even watch the movie talked all night and have barely spent a night apart ever since and 2 weeks ago he asked me to marry him!!!!!! Now engaged and more in love than ever.

we met on one forum website. he messaged me asking for my email so we could chat sometimes. and after few months we became a couple. we lived ocean apart. had 5 years of long distance relationship which was pretty hard sometimes. met 3 times once each year and last year finally got married

I am relieved to find out how many people really are meeting their love online.

I get so many negative reactions when I tell people that I met my love online. He sent me a message that he liked my smile. I was only looking for friends and his profile stated he was too...so that's how it started...but a few months later he told me he loved me... I was shocked to say the least... lol

I had been alone a long time raising my daughter and thought...is this guy nuts or what?? lol But I gave him a chance not really considering that I would actually travel an ocean away to meet someone. Everything since that time has been kind of a blur...visiting and talking and sharing our dreams... I never thought love could be like this and I am so incredibly blessed!!

Pray for everything to go smoothly in Jan when I return to get married and the eventual submission of our application in Feb and many blessings to you all in this process. ;D

I met my husband at a Rally in 2008 in Calgary Alberta - I worked on a team, and he was volunteering at the event. 6'4 blue eyed kiwi was hard to miss!

He came to Vancouver, and we became just friends for a year, and then decided we were in luff after he went home to New Zealand for 2 months, he came back, and I haven't let him leave since. We were married this past summer.

Hi, I met my wife in Starbucks coffee in Toronto, she was sitting there with her friends, and I came with friend of mine, by accident or by God way our friends know each other, so we set drink our Coffey and chat, she stole my heart, at that night I could not sleep, trust me I could not - , I adore blond girl we exchange emails, she add me in MSN, we started to chat, visit each other, going out. scenic thats day my heart not with me. and Starbucks become my Favorite coffee. ;D

I (American) met my spouse (Canadian) on a random tour we both happened to be on, (Ireland). If either of us would have picked a different date to go on the trip, we'd of never met. If I'd not had the balls to talk to her whilst on said trip, we'd of never formed a friendship, courted, and married.

It's funny how life works, eh?
