landed!

Everything was quick and easy. All of the extra papers I brought (besides COPR) were unnecessary.

I didn't get the "welcome to Canada!" though

Congrats Jendrian, what is the COPR? Do we get that when we get my husbands passport back from the embassy?

yup, Confirmation Of Permanent Residency (COPR). You'll be instructed not to sign it, and it's very important that you DON'T SIGN IT until you're at the Canadian Border Services Agency (CBSA) office at your Point Of Entry (POE).

You have to tell every official too that you're a first time immigrant so they point you in the right direction.

Our update reads ,,Descion made and passport received March 8/5011

Will be landing in Canada April 15/2011 after going to manila to get stamp from Commisioner for overseas Philippines .

Finally at last my love will be back in my arms again .

Hello guys I got my visa and the confirmation of my permanent residence everything was very good fast and friendly I'm glad I went personally to the embassy which processed it the same day I will be landing on Saturday 19 at Vancouver!!! That is wonderful. Good Luck!!!

And you are right. It is amazing how fast it is going. I know that mine will probably be very slow (Guatemala) but I hope that we will land this year as well.
