Thread for September 2010 Applicants

I'm landed!

Already being here on a WHP visa, all we had to do was make an appointment with the local visa office (Gatineau, QC) and go in to have the final paperwork processed. The whole thing took 5 minutes... She checked the visa sticker in my passport, checked my partner's passport, witnessed my CSQ and congratulated me on becoming a new resident. Too easy ;)
 
I'm landed as of march 19 everything went really good thanks to all for your support and good luck to the rest waiting!!!
 
So, i finally got my RCMP fingerprints, and sent them to my VO.

A few days later, on the 23 March, 2011, I got PPR. Yay me! But I'm not due to land till Aug.

I just landed today. was so happy to see my husband finally :)
 
Yay all you lucky landed people!! I hope you all have wonderful happy lives with your loved ones. I can't wait to get there!!
 
Congrats to everyone who's landed and/or about to land!!! This list looks amazing, but unfortunately I'm still waiting and expect to for another month at least :(

Can't wait till this depressing process is done with... Then I can return to normal again! :)
 
I got an update on ecas today. It said that they forwarded my application to the MICC in October. Ha! I got all excited this morning when I saw the email from ecas tracker... but then I opened it and read the non-exciting update.... :(

PPR will come in time....in time....

Though now I wonder: why did they take so long to tell me that? I wish it actually meant something.

I got the same. I was excited because we had just sent our passport and extra information. Don't worry they have actually told us this exciting information 3 times now. They definitely need to work on this.

Just looking at the updates and it's sooooooooo nice to see that most people are getting ahead pretty quickly. We are a bit nervous right now. We submitted our passport to the London office and they received it March 21st (we tracked it). We were stupid and bought a return ticket thinking one month is more than enough time. But it doesn't always pan out the way you want it. I think a word of advice that I would like to give is - don't book any flights until you get your passport back. It's not worth the worry and stress!

yeah so true.. dont worry, ul get the ppt back soon with visa.
 
i applied in September, and the Colombo office recieved it 25th of october, still waiting for the visa :S
