Takes 3 months for the FBI

The FBI check does take 3 months however it is sent in with your application, it has nothing to do with the security checks that are done while your application is being processed.
I think it's hit and miss, some people are processed in 44 days, some in 144 days, some in 344 days - who knows!!! They seem to process at their own speed.
I think that it's time that the September thread starts hearing some news though!!!

Got the interview waived letter today (dated for Jan 20th), and the 'bar code' letter saying to save at least one label for when the passports are requested. Moving right along!

Good News has finally come guys... ;DI would like to share with you the good news....


My wife got her VISA today...7pm Philippine time....Thanks for all the encouragement, inspiration and strength that I got from this forum. I believed that you will get yours too and in due time, we will achieved all our dreams!!!!!

Bonbon, my E-cas (coincidentaly!) has JUST been updated, and my application was received by the visa office on October 22nd... can you change that date please ??

YAY !!! I am so happy... I can't hide it! hehehehe
finally something is happening... !

We received XXX application for permanent residence on November 24, 2010.

We started processing XXXX application on January 21, 2011.

Medical results have been received.
