BONBON I have not heard anything from Mexico VO either, should I be worried??? I just have the letter from the sponsorship approved from Mississauga VO and I.m not in process in the website... Any suggestion to find out how is my case going??? Thanks

Same here, Caracas VO has sent me anything yet.. having an anxiety attack!!!
still on Decision made status.. It sounds a little bit crazy, but i really visit CIC website everyday checking for updated!!! hahahahah

BONBON... my husband and I are so miserable. too... awwbut thanks to god.. after 40 days, i will see him again In Venezuela for 2weeks.

Congratulations to warrenthegreat for In Process status!

GT25: I don't know what's going on with Mexico City VO They used to give AOR/In Process very shortly after receiving applications (like 15 days or less). I sent them a Case Specific Inquiry, and they haven't responded.... Oh well, we'll just have to keep waiting.

chloe0722: Hope your 40 days will pass fast so you'll be with your hubby sooner! I'm lucky to be waiting it out next to him here in Canada. I think we would go crazy waiting for so long and away from each other. My sympathies to everyone that is going through this process away from their loved ones. Keep strong, good luck!

Nope Suze, I'm just checking my email like a loony every 5 minutes in the hope of finding a PPR !!! I used to be a Ecas addict...now its my emails !

In Manila visa office, I've seen a few applicants whose status or letters received from the embassy has noted saying that 'medicals have been received'. But on mine and my husband's there was no confirmation so I'm wondering as well if the embassy had received ours or not and just didn't say it on ecas or letter

Was your husbands medical done in manila . My wifes was done there in Manila by one of the Doctors on the Canadian Embassy`s list . They have recieved hers allready and said evrythin okay .

Just a thought for everyone who is in the Vancouver area . Would like to know if you want to meet once amonth for coffee and toss around our thoughts and ideas about the immigration process for our loved ones ?

I don't know where you are (I'm near Brighton), but I'm pretty sure if you are anywhere near an open window you'll hear me when we get our PPR!!! We want to be gone in May, my nephew is graduating in June & I want to be there to celebrate it...and my grandad has been sick (he's almost 91!) and I don't want to miss anymore time with him either. I've spent a lot of time in London so I'm just hoping that the CIC staff are more efficient than the staff where I used to work!!! lol

My husband's medicals were done in Baguio and yes, it was one of the designated medical practitioners listed in the Embassy's - right at the top of the list. No word yet as to whether they've received his medicals or not. The doctor did say they would contract him within a week after his medical exam if there was anything wrong with his results but they never did so I assumed everything was fine.
This waiting game sucks.

Got the letter dated Nov 8, 2010 from Buffalo that the case has been received. I think this is the AOR, right? ECAS also shows that the application has started processing on Nov 8, 2010. So just hoping that the rest of the application happens quickly.

Bonbon9, can you update accordingly. Also, the processing office is Buffalo and not New York as I had initially thought.

Canooknic - I'm in Staffordshire with my parents at the moment but heading back to Toronto on Sunday until 28th December when my work visa expires. Are you the principal applicant or are you the sponsor? Where in Canada are you heading back to? I'm sure everything will have worked out for you by May!!! You're a couple of weeks ahead of me so I'm watching your progress with interest, please let me know when you hear anything! Suze x
