Hello Makool, I just called CIC and what you said is not important... The person I spoke to said that my application wouldn't have been forwarded to Guatemala if my payment wasn't cleared. No one needs to call missisauga unless you STILL haven't received your letter saying you were approved for sponsorship. They don't ask you for RPRF if you paid the $1040 in full. She said no need to worry, just keep being patient. It's now just in the end of Guatemala or the consulates/embassies in the other countries. My husband is calling San Jose this morning to see if anything has been waiting for him. Sometimes the consulate 'forgets' to call people. This actually happened to friends of ours last year. San Jose had his Visa for a month and he had never received a call, he had just finally called them and they said yes we have had a package for a month and you haven't come to pick it up, but they also had no record of contacting him for it! Silly!

Hi, I was refering exclusivily to the Alex121 case application, what I said is that if it's not a receipt included when you paid you need to make sure it was included and if it was that payment needs to be cleared in order to proceed with the visa, there is a lot of confusion with this specially for the ARC payment in alex121 because in his files the payment hasn't been cleared for some reason, I was just informing about possiblys delays due to payments.....I'm advising with my own experience and been helping people when it's about RPRF payments and instructions and how to cleared the payment, plus I have a very good source of information.....but you have to right to do it in the best way possible you think will be...thanks

good luck

my hubby paid 400.00 for application to return to canada (arc) because he was deported and demeed inadmissable to canada he also paid 1500.00 for deportation fees :)
some one tell me what i do if my address on his confirmation of perm residence is wring like totakly wrong.... says vancouver and im in ontario ???

Hi ruby,

Try to fix that as CIC could misinterpret that and also, once he arrives they will ask about the address and if it's wrong he could be involved in more questions and all that questioning that CIC has specially for his case from past, try to call CIC and then send them a letter explaining that the address is wrong and you want the right address to avoid delays or problems in the future....make sure you send them something in wrinting so you can cover your back if someday there is any kind of situation...

good luck....

Hey ruby504
when did u pay the arc and the other fee $150 as well have u confirmed this payment and if you have can you tell me thanks I would really appreciate it THANKS

Hello Ruby504
My husband left voulteerly even though he was illegal, he did pay for his flight so I dont think he will get charged the $1500 but the ARC ya they sent a letter to my lawyer back in march to pay it and asking for passport,RCMP, and police certificate from costa rica, We sent everything and my lawyer recently sent them an email clearly stating we sent the ARC and the other documents they asked for and they told her am in queue for an immigration officer to do an assessment and they will contact me soon to follow the next step, but like I said I call in western union from here in costa rica and it says the money order has not been cashed, they say this can take some time but it has been already too months since we sent it out am thinking that this stupid ARC is slowing down my process :( ps if u paid in january when did u confirm that they cashed the money order
Thanks again

Hi Alex121,

Why you don't try to pay this fee online so you have peace of mind, and then you ask CIC for that money order so you don't lose the money, Did you have a timeline to pay that fee? It is very possible that this fee is slowing downs your application, try to pay it online then send a copy of the receipt and aske for your money order back...honestly I think the best way to pay money to CIC is online and getting a receipt so you know that they have the money for sure....think about it.

Buena suerte

Hey makool
yes am thinking this is probally slowing down the process, and yes am thinking of probally paying it online, as well it was been 2months u know how these ppl work, so thats why am trying to be patient and giving it some time, but I think 2 months is enough, thanks for all your help Makool, appreciate it,
GRACIAS :D

you can't pay these fees on line and they were cashed in feburary. It doesnt matter if your husband left voluntary or not he left with a deportion which means he needed to apply to re-enter canada. The 1500.00 does not depend on if he lleft voluntary it is if he paid for his ticket or not.
my husband did not pay for his ticket so had to pay these "removal fees" before he was allowed back in

can anyone who has had their partner arrive tell me what it will be like for him?? please he does not read or write and i am sure they will give him a hard time..... i kind of want a step by step from departure to arrival!! :) thanx

My husband just got his passport back today :D We land June 15th!!!

Wonderful news MrsCasanova!!! After your long wait you deserved it.

We are going to Alberta. I am hoping to work in the far north part of the province. Though I have one class I have to take in order to get my teaching certificate there.
