There is no such thing ARC specially you being Canadian Who told you that why? this is the first time I know about this, well but my concern here is your passport has a few months already in the Canadian Embassy it will be good idea to know about that RPRF payment and if it's cleared already if so, then the problem are those 400 $ ARC which I'll find out more about it with a friend who works in Immigration ok...

to find out exactly what's going on try to call and find out about the RPRF

YA am still gonna give them a call and the ARC is not a lie immigration sent me the email asking for that and am not the only one there are other ppl I know that have been charged this, BUT I really appreciate all the help I hope U can find something out, thanks again
 
Hi alex121,

I just spoke wit my friend and this is what happends, was your husband in Canada before? if so well you have to pay this in order for him to come Canada, wherever the situation was yes you have to pay this, but here is the important part, that payment has to be cleared first in order to continue with your application ok, now you have to homeworks, try to find out about the RPRF and CRA if they are paid and cleared already ok....i hope it helps ...

thanks for the homework but honestly the ARC like I said I sent them a money order and it has a receipt I call in with the tracking number and it says it hasnt been cashed, this is what I have been doind for the last 3 weeks i feel weird calling immigration there gonna say this girl is annoying and has no patience lol but all give it a try wont hurt, THANKS soo much for the help, lo agradesco mucho

Do not worry about bother Immigration remember you have this right and this is not free, so you can ask all you want, they are there to help.

Why you don't try to pay that online and ask for that money order back, my friend recommend this in order to make that payment to run fast,,,,,you may considerer this,,,,,good luck

Yes the RPRF is included with that amount of 1040$ but did you include the receipt of RPRF with your application?

Do you know if that payment is cleared already, before you get the visa in your passport that payment has to be cleared, if you are waiting for visa and it's taking to long this may be one reason why, if not just make sure that payment is cleared in Mississauga.

Hello Makool, I just called CIC and what you said is not important... The person I spoke to said that my application wouldn't have been forwarded to Guatemala if my payment wasn't cleared. No one needs to call missisauga unless you STILL haven't received your letter saying you were approved for sponsorship. They don't ask you for RPRF if you paid the $1040 in full. She said no need to worry, just keep being patient. It's now just in the end of Guatemala or the consulates/embassies in the other countries. My husband is calling San Jose this morning to see if anything has been waiting for him. Sometimes the consulate 'forgets' to call people. This actually happened to friends of ours last year. San Jose had his Visa for a month and he had never received a call, he had just finally called them and they said yes we have had a package for a month and you haven't come to pick it up, but they also had no record of contacting him for it! Silly!

I JUST called and it went through no problem. Make sure it's 1-888 NOT 1-800

I called from Canada. If you cann from CR you need to dial 001-888-242-2100.

My husband just called the consulate in San Jose and I['m so pissed!!! They said there was correspondence form January. No one called him about that. they called us April 15 saying there was correspondence and he went the 18th to pick it up. It was his passport rquest. So there is still something else there that they NEVER gave him. This either means they have requested something else in Jan that we didn't know about OR that they originally requested his passport in Jan and could have freaking been here already!!! I hope its not a criminal record check cause that will just set us a year further!!!
 
I know I called yesterday and they said a package has been there since NOVEMBER no one ever called me or told me ur suppose to call around every 20th I have no idea what is , Now I need to go get it like 4hr drive I live in perez the other side of the mountain, so unfair, and YA I did call the way ur saying and nothing it doesnt go through
 
There is no point in calling if you have been approved as a sponsor. Don't worry. The lady I spoke to said I wouldn't have received the ARC without my payment being processed. So if you know that the sponsorship has been approved and you paid the full 1040.00 then you're good. Yes, my husband is going from Fortuna, but can't until Wednesday on his next day off. He just had this last wednesday off, but we never knew to call either around the 20th! They need more organization and consistency. It's ridiculious.
