londo, i would recommend you go with the outland route as it's substantially faster compared to inland. if the case processing center in mississauga (CPC-M) transfers your file to london, you can expect to wait anywhere between 8-12 months. if on the other hand your file is transferred to ottawa, you'll be through within 6 months or less. CPC-M decides which visa office your file gets transferred to.Londo said:Hi Guys,
Please I got two question and would appropriate any inputs.
1. I am a British citizen and am trying to decide if I should do an outland or inland application. How long is my application likely to take as outland from beggining to the end?
2. Am a bit confused with this part of the application. Do I have to include a Schedule A – Background/Declaration (IMM 5669) form for my sponsor as well as per the instruction below.
Thanks in advance
Schedule A – Background/Declaration (IMM 5669)
Who must fill out this application form?
This form must be completed by:
you, the principal applicant;
your spouse or common-law partner (whether accompanying you to Canada or not), and
your dependent children aged 18 years or older (whether accompanying you to Canada or not).
the schedule A form does not need to be completed by the sponsor.
i'd like to wait a bit before i'm added to any of the spreadsheets. i haven't added myself to the pakistani one either even though i'm one of the moderators.SchnookoLoly said:Actually, London has made decisions this month. English Timbit (2015 sheet, 15-Oct applicant) had their DM from London on 5-Aug.
Mary23 (2014 sheet) had their DM from London on 1-Aug, Pakistani applicant.
There are still tons from Nov and Dec waiting, though, so the fact that you applied in December and haven't had any movement is completely normal.
Also, you aren't on the spreadsheet. I'd like to add you, since more data on the spreadsheet makes it more accurate. NEed to know the date you got sponsor approval and where the PA is located.
The overall average for London is about 11 months, both for "standard" and for PK applicants. That means December applicants should not expect ot hear until about November, another 3 months from now.
i do understand that the average for london is 11 months, but here's why i'm starting to get worried: from what i understand, the majority of applicants who were processed within the 11 month average had their files opened and assessed for eligibility at around 6 months after the file date. meanwhile, here i am nearing 8.5 months since i filed my application, and london still hasn't gotten around to opening my wife's file and assessing her eligibility. even when they do get around to reviewing her file, will they not need an additional 3-4 months to complete all of her assessments and finalize her app (provided that it's a straightforward case)? if so, doesn't this mean that i, along with the rest of the december 2015 applicants, am looking at a wait time of more than 11 months?
