hi,
Hoping someone can point me in the right direction, I've just received an email requesting 2 new photgraphs to finalise the application. Can someone tell me do I just get these taken and FedEx them to London, or do they need countersigning like a passport would? Also I'm in Canada so I assume they have to be mailed and not emailed?

Also does anyone have any experience how long it takes from receiving the photos for DM

Thanks

FedEx is fine, they would have provided the address. You can have it countersigned on delivery if you want confirmation that it arrived there (though I think FedEx tracks it anyway). And yes, mailed, because they need the physical photos for your application/COPR.

Shouldn't be too long to DM from here, keep an eye on ECAS, I suspect it'll change in the next few days ish. :)

guys we got ppr request on 20th May we submitted our passports on 24th May to Islamabad visa office . We are a family case from karachi pakistan can someone tell me in how much time we will get back pur passports ? and is someone in the same boat as us ? please share your experience if you are . :D

Spreadsheet update. COPR received 24th May, 9 weeks after DM.

CIC initially sent the COPR on April 5th to an address in London, Canada, hence the delay. I had to have a new one issued which took a long time.

Heading over the border today to flagpole.

Keep hope. This application took just over 5 months in total. A naysayer on this forum told me that i would never receive my COPR by May. It can happen, try and read the good stories and not get too put off by the horror stories.

Sending positive energy to all of those starting or in the process.

Sundusk - did you really apply in 2010?! Your best bet is probably to check one of the Pakistani-specific threads. Was your case processed in London?

Beckyh - glad it's all done and dusted! If your application had gone to London instead of Ottawa then May would have been wildly optimistic, but Ottawa has been averaging 4-5 months for applications recently, which is amazing for those who get sent to Ottawa and annoying for those who go to London, lol. Anyways, glad it all worked out for you! Hope your landing goes well - welcome, eh! :)

This thread is for spousal sponsorship, a completely different process. I suggest you post on a parent sponsorship thread.

Congrats! 5 months is just amazing! Was your application processed in London? What was your application date? (If you don't mind me asking)... Fingers and toes crossed mine gets processed as quickly as yours!
