Hi Guys, just checking in . Husband started his new job yesterday , and he picked up his new wheels. Finally we feel we are starting our new life together . It will be so nice to have that extra pay check .

No PR card yet and no heath insurance but another month and we should have both .


I ordered our notes once we landed and they came a few days ago. Nothing in there to explain why it took us so long to complete our process .

After 12 weeks from recieving DM my COPR is en route to me in Canada - Tracking number recieved. It's been a crazy 3 months waiting. . . Finally lift at the end of the tunnel.

Luckily right when you got busy was when BabySchnooks started to be able to play more independently and got a bit better with napping so I've been able to get back into the swing of things. Currently living in Canada. Read the following on the BritishExpats page:

Contact Information, Questions 1&2: I am currently in Canada as a visitor. What address do I put?
For the current mailing address, use your Canadian address. For your residential address, use your overseas address.

Is the second bit correct? The CIC guide says put the address you are currently living for both...
