Andrew, as always thanks.

Any news on yours? Ive been watching out over the last couple of week!

I went DM on Saturday 5th/Sunday 6th (around midnight in my timezone) and I am not-so-patiently waiting for the COPR.

So its sent from London? Jeez I cant believe how long you've had to wait!! Ridiculous

Yes, it is sent from London. LVO do not tell you when it is sent, so I am hoping it has been sent and is on its way across the pond!

Congratulations to everyone with DM! Good luck to everyone else currently waiting.

I'm waiting for COPR to arrive and always with me, I'm thinking ahead to when it's time to land. I'm hoping to plan it all well in advance and would like your knowledge and thoughts on my situation:-

In an ideal world I would like to travel ahead of my kids and do my landing. My kids would stay with my parents for about a month so that me and my husband can look for a house and I can investigate schools and job openings. This would enable us to have everything arranged and would hopefully make the transition for the kids a bit easier. It would also be great if our shipment had arrived and we could set up our home and their bedrooms, etc.

My question is; is this permitted? or would my kids need to do their landing with me? they are aged 19, 17 and 13.

My plan would be to return to the UK once everything's sorted out in Canada and accompany the kids to do their landing.

Thanks ;D

Beaverdiva - as long as the principal applicant lands first, or at the same time as dependents, it is fine.

So you will land first and then return to the UK and then fly back with your children. I am not sure exactly what will happen with your COPR, maybe others will know.

So you're waiting it out in Canada? Is there a general expected time frame from DM > COPR

The spreadsheet tracks DM to receiving the COPR. Can be anywhere from a couple of days all the way up to 8 weeks.

Taffy7, thank you, it brought a smile to my face too! I hope yours turns up soon too!

Andrew-Brit-yes, everything is correct on the spreadsheet. We are not landing until March so will be staying in the UK until then. Here's hoping you receive your Copr any day now :)

Hi GISGeek,

Congratulation :)

4th line on Ecas showing after DM:

4.We sent you correspondence on December 17, 2015. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.

Spreadsheet Update: I got PPR for my wife today i.e. One day after DM :)

Can anyone tell me how long it would take to receive the CoPR once the application goes DM?

The spreadsheet tracks DM date and COPR received date. I explained this in a recent post. Most likely within a month but take into account the time if year.

Congrats to all getting their DM and PPR! There is light at the end of the tunnel indeed!
