Thanks Sibby, my last email subject started with Urgent, maybe in the future I will write "Free money inside" and see if that works!

;D ;D ;D ;D

Andrew if it helps your analyzing I wanted to let you know our COPR was dated on November 24th. ECSs changed on November 26th. The envelope is post marked December 1st and our lawyer received it December 15th.

You will have yours next week :) fingers crossed

Thanks Widnes, interesting that the COPR was dated before you got DM by 2 days. Assuming the same thing happens to me that means my COPR will be sent out 5 days after DM which is December 8th, 2 weeks from then is Christmas Day!

When I got the email with my PPR ecas still showed In Process.

Hello everyone. I have a question and hoping someone could help me out.

LVO sent me an email requesting to submit my CSQ ( certificat selection quebec) on November 16th, 2015.

I applied for the CSQ on december 2nd and have not received any response yet. I do know it takes about a month.

But I am given 45 days to submit a copy of the csq, and I dont know in how long I will be receiving it.

I wanted to know... What if I dont receive my CSQ before the 45 days deadline? Should I email LVO to let them know that I have applied for the CSQ but dont know how long itll take for me to receive it? I really hope that the 45 days deadline is the deadline to submit everything to MIDI and not LVO.

Also, once I receive my CSQ, should I send a copy to LVO?

The email that I received was:

Dear Sir/Madam,

We are writing with regards to your family-class application for permanent residence in Canada.

Please be advised that, in order for us to continue processing your application, we require the following:

As you are destined to the province of Quebec, we cannot continue processing your application until we receive Quebec Immigration Approval for all applicants by means of a Certificat de Sélection du Québec/Quebec Selection Certificate (CSQ). We usually receive a copy of the CSQ from the Quebec Government MICC. To date, we have not received your CSQ. Please forward a copy of your CSQ.

Please submit the requested documentation/information to us within 45 days including a copy of this email as a cover letter. Please submit all the above documents to us at the same time, quoting your file number (shown in the subject line above) on all correspondence.

Sincerely,

In my case, it took about 5 weeks to receive the CSQ from the time I applied.

judging from the time the mail was sent, Nov. 16th...time might cut you short.

Why did you wait so long to apply from the time you received the e-mail ?

If I were you, I will start by contacting MIDI to let them know that you need it very urgently.

Furthermore, you have less than 2 weeks to attain the 45 days deadline...I suggest you inform your VO now that you might not meet the deadline.

As a precaution, once you receive it, still send a scan copy by CSE even though your VO will be informed.

Good luck !

However, the photos you provide are used on your COPR I believe, or on your PR card, not sure which. So if the format has changed for that then we may have to provide new photos.

On the subject of photos my hubby's whole PR card renewal application has all been returned to him because they changed the photo specifications, despite him applying over 4 months ago. I can imagine they'll be requesting new photos for PR cards on that basis..

Hey everyone. I just got in from watching star wars and it seems that the force was with me tonight. Decision made! I I checked two times today but something made me check just one last time before bed. I checked it last around 4pm MT time. So way past when london offices would be closed. It was past 1am here when I checked again and saw decision made. So I'm sure it changed on the 18th dec in London time.

I have never been asked for extra evidence so I assume it's a positive decision.

I did order my notes today so not sure if that's anything to do with SXB finalizing my application.

Wow.

Congratulations! ;D

Congrats Brit-in-Alberta, that must be a new record for SXB! :P

I received GCMS notes that I ordered in mid-November. The notes are dated November 18th, medical is listed as passed, but everything else is not started? Did they really start and finish eligibility, security and criminality in a month, or do they just list some of the checks as "not started" even when they're in progress? The due date is December 11th, and I got DM yesterday.

I notice they don't necessarily update the notes on time. I've send them some forms and they never showed up as being received by them. Some of my inquiries are noted, and some aren't. I suppose it depends on how productive they are feeling there on the particular day :p
