Does everyone get the request for new photos and passport scan? Do they send it to the principal applicant's email?

The tricky part is not everyone on the spreadsheet gives as much info as others, so it is hard to form insights into the data. However I am of the opinion that more Ottawa applicants get this request than direct to London applicants. Some London applicants get it too but not as many.

So it took 3 weeks from DM and 16 days from London to Toronto. I am losing hope of getting mine before Christmas!

I'm losing hope too that it will now arrive tomorrow. Weekend plans needs to be canceled by 12 midnight

Keep the faith taffy - if they have already sent it then it is no longer in CIC's hands, but at the mercy of Royal Mail and then Canada Post!

ECAS has been updated with decision made! No more requests for additional documents so assuming its good news!

The date in the footer of the information guide 3901e is 12-2015 so based on that I think they will accept previous application photos. However, the photos you provide are used on your COPR I believe, or on your PR card, not sure which. So if the format has changed for that then we may have to provide new photos.

LauraMo got DM on 3rd December, so after this change to photo dimensions and she got her COPR on the 11th of December with no request for additional photos.

Have you tried contacting LVO to ask if they have sent it?

No i haven't contacted them . They have answered our email only 3 times in the whole process and that was when i challenged them about the request for new medicals for my step son and medical request for applicant and another time when i asked if they had received the change of address.

All the dates are correct. The address on my application is still Coventry, although ive recently arrived in Hamilton, ON to visit the misses for christmas. Assuming my COPR arrives before January i may aswell stay in Hamilton and get my parents to post the COPR to me and get a refund on the return flight.

I would say all 3. My MP told me the same thing back in November , she did try but they came back with the 28 month crap . I use Hubbies email address because they definitely won't response to the sponsor . 3) they want to put me in an early grave ...

I contacted an MP about my co-op work permit situation last week, and CIC did respond to them even though the published processing time hadn't passed yet. Unfortunately the response was only "the application will be processed around January 20th." Maybe that December 1st rule only applies to overseas visa offices, I believe my work permit is being processed somewhere in Canada? Who knows.

Not sure if this helps but after getting DM and no COPR, i emailed them on 7th December and put URGENT on the subject line. I asked if they had received my passport photos and if they would be using my Canada Address as Ecas hadnt updated to new mailing address. Got reply very next day confirming receipt of docs and that canada address would be used. This was way after 1st December.

Previous email sent on 26 November had yielded no reply. Guess depends on how they feel on that day..
