Yeah don't worry about the ecas guys , my family have their copr and my ecas still shows medical results received , there is no sent decision about application line. Don't rely on it mcfluck, I didn't even get an email either it just got posted out and received to our address on file. All went smooth

I had a good feeling about today, and just when all hope was lost, i received email from Ottawa

The processing of your application is complete. However, this letter is a reminder to submit the stated missing documentation.

o Two Passport sized photos for you and all family members accompanying. See our specifications at www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/pdf/5445EB-e.pdf
Submitting Original Passports

We require a VALID passport for you and for each accompanying family member, if you are not from a visa except country or if you have not yet submitted valid passports. Passports for you and all accompanying family members must be submitted together. There must be at least one blank visa page in each passport. If there are children included in your passport there must be blank visa pages for them as well.
SUBMITTING DOCUMENTS for you and/or your dependants reside in Canada or the US
Please note that CPC-Ottawa does not send out passports outside of North America.

· Submit all documents by MAIL in a single package. Enclose the requested documents, a copy of this letter and folded self-addressed envelope in the envelope with our mailing address:

So I'm from Ireland with is a visa exempt country so i don't have to send my passport.
Im going to send in the passport pics but I don't know where to send them.

the addresses on the email are for if you have a mailing address in Canada or the US..

Has anyone else received this email, and know which address to send the pics to..

We are getting married at the end of January (in Canada) and plan to submit our application soon afterwards. I've been reading this forum for a few months and it has really helped to make sense of the process, so thanks everyone for sharing. I'm sure I'll be posting questions once we get further into filling the forms!

Just a quick question, I sent my PR application and saw that it had arrived in Mississauga on the 12th November through the tracking on the package. However I still have not received an email or any other form of contact from the CIC regarding the AOR. Is this normal or should I start to be getting worried?

Hi everyone,

We received our COPR in the post on Saturday 12th December and have to land before 09/11/16! Such a long gap as medical will expire in Feb, but gives us more time to plan our landing!

Also, huge congrats to Andrew & Taffy!

It's normal. We received the AOR a month after sending the application.

I didn't ever receive an AOR, the first contact I had was when my Sponsor got approved ;D Don't worry, it's normal!
