thanks Andrew i will update.

Hi,

Just entering my spreadsheet data in the required format:

Date application received in Mississauga: 19 May 15
-Whether you applied as Married or Common-Law: Married
-Date of sponsor approval: 16 Jul 15
-Which office is processing Phase 2 of your application (will say on your sponsor approval letter/email): London
-Date the permanent residence status changed to In Process on ECAS: Will check on that; not been on ECAS yet.
-Date(s) of any other requests you've had: 17 Nov 15. IO at London office requests evidence that sponsor will reside in Canada as soon as applicant receives PR visa.
-Whether or not the principal applicant is non-visa exempt (if non-visa exempt) provide the applicant's nationality: Don't undertsand the question. Please explain.
-Current location of the principal applicant- closest major city is fine if you don't want to be too specific!: Guildford, UK
-Date of medical exam: 24 Apr 15

I will update as I get new information. I pesume I just use this forum thread to add data.

Will get on to ECAS now and see what it is about.

Thanks Ti-coune, I have added you.

Yes, use this thread to post updates.

If the applicant is a British citizen then they are visa exempt, meaning they do not need a visa to visit Canada. You can use this page to check.

pbandj: spreadsheet updated, congrats! Let me know if you have received any requests up until now and if you get any. Also please stick around and let us know when you receive the COPR.

Received my COPR in the post today. I haven't had any requests before or since receiving DM. Planning on doing a quick border run on Friday. ;D

I'm currently in Canada, so I was wondering if London have printed my COPR or if Ottawa/somewhere else has. I haven't had to send any additional info/docs. Just curious is all!

I'm in Vancouver and it came from London as an international priority signed-for document.

Thanks again to everyone who contributes to this thread and the spreadsheet and I hope it speeds up for those still waiting from 2014.

Ah awesome! Thanks so much, thats what I was curious to know. I'm hoping mine will be arriving tomorrow now as I got DM one day after you!

Edit: I forgot to say congrats too!

Great news on our front - COPR arrived in mail today. Delivered from the Canadian High Commission in London in a signed-for package by our lovely rural mail lady: "You 'ave package from England!"

We live outside Ottawa, so we'll be driving to Cornwall or one of the other New York state borders this weekend for a quick flagpole. :)

Thank you all so very much for your support and best wishes to everyone.

Congratulations misslissa! I also received COPR in the mail today. Although I was expecting to be processed through LVO I was actually done through ADVO (I was living in the UAE until June when I moved to Canada).
I got my COPR from Ottawa and will flagpole within the week :)

Hi GISGeek,

Can I have your input?

Really need your urgent feedback. Is this PPR 1 Cry? Appreciate your feedback Smiley. Tnx

Need URGENT HELP

Today, I received below email from LVO with an attachment having below request. What is this for? Can anyone help me? Tnx

"This is in reference to your application for permanent residence in Canada. In order for us to continue the processing of your application, we require the following documents: Passport photos: Passport size photographs (photographs must conform to the specifications outlined in the Guide to Immigrating IMM 3999 and Appendix B Photo Specifications) colour scan of passport photo. Passport/Travel Document: Colour scan of valid passport bio page. Please note: All documents must be accompanied by English or French translations. When original documents are requested, notarised documents are not acceptable. The above information/documents must be received in our office within 45 days from the date of this letter. Failure to do so could result in the refusal of your application. Please quote your complete application number on your correspondence. Please return this letter with the requested documents"

This is a PPR but I am not sure whether it is PPR1 or 2, because these days there is only one such PPR in which LVO instructs us to send our original passport along with 02 photos and form A to the specific visa office. LVO used to send that kind of letter in the past so I guess it is PPR1 or may be they have reverted back to their old practice. Anyways, what one can do just comply with the request and send the requested docs to LVO ASAP, hopefully you will get the real passport request shortly.

A bit of light humour for those of still waiting from 2014......

Was browsing around the CIC website today and saw this:

Current processing times

In cases of spouses, common-law partners, conjugal partners and/or dependent children, CIC is committed to issuing visas as quickly as possible.

Yeah right. Made me chuckle, that did. ;)
