Just count it as an early christmas blessing! =) No one really knows why some applications have suddenly sped up. It's more than likely to do with the new immigration minister and them wanting to look good (Bring the average down by completing some newer apps) when they revise the numbers in a few weeks.

Wow, I feel blessed to be honest.

One quick question I mentioned before if you don't mind too.

When I complete the 'Appendix B - Updated Information Chart' should I include my Sponsor under the 'Spouse or Partner' section? I am the Principal Applicant but myself and my Sponsor are living in the UK right now. We'll be returning to Canada together but obviously I'm the only one that is being granted PR as she is already a citizen. I just want to know if I need to put her down alongside me or just myself?

Wow! Super quick DM to COPR time! Congrats! Hope you have a good landing!

Hi everyone :)
I just went a cross the border in Montana to get my landing status and want to let you know it was very easy, officer was nice and congratulate me for getting my PR! He asked me couple questions: where I was born, my las entry to Canada, if I was charged/convicted of any crime and I if I have any dependants with me! The whole thing took max 20 minutes and we were free to go!
He said that it will take 3- 4 MONTHS for PR card to arrive becouse they are super busy right now but I can just go with my passport to get sin number and start working and paing taxes ;) (his words)
Wish you all that your DM will come very soon! fingers crossed!!

Congratulations, Kasiap, and thank you for the information. CIC received our passport copies and photos today so I expect to do my flagpoling next month so this information is useful.

Spreadsheet updated jonnylad.

Not expecting anything but I just sent London the following

Hello,

I am inquiring about the status of my application for permanent residency via spousal sponsorship.

The last information I received from you was an email on November 9th saying that my file is being reviewed.

I would like to know why there are applications being approved which were received in Mississauga (and then sent to London after sponsor approval) in 2015.

I am a member of a forum where outland applicants publish their application timeline and there are people who applied in June 2015 who have been approved. I applied 9 months earlier than these people and I would like to know why they are approved before my application.

I appreciate any information you can give me.

Thank you,

Hi everyone

I have just come across this forum and the spreadsheet. Very well done on the spreadsheet it is definitely extremely helpful knowing what is happening. If you would like to add my details on here they are:

Application received in Mississauga: Aug 24, 2015
Married
Sponsor Approval: October 20th, 2015
Processing Office: London
In Process: Oct 30th, 2015
Applicant lives in: Manchester, UK
Meds done Aug 15, 2015
Sponsor lives in Vancouver, BC

Think that is all
Good luck to everyone :) :D

Good man Andrew. I did the same yesterday only enquiring as to the messed up processing times and I got my MP to do the same last week. He's also going to raise this idiotic issue with the CIC in London. Only time will tell. I hope we're not going to be left in limbo and quoted 28 months blah blah blah even though at the time we applied processing times were stated quite clearly as 12 months

I am as clean as a whistle. Nothing to report and nothing reported on the PCC. I think they are checking for crimes committed in Canada although my notes said the RCMP check came back and passed so who knows.

Meanwhile 2015 applications get approved in no time, there isn't any hold up for them huh.
Sorry to hear about the unprecedented delay in your case, but I have the feeling that you will hear good news by end of this month. Cheer up man, you are the source of inspiration for all of us!!

I was thinking exactly to write such email to them. Let us know if you receive a reply.

Not sure you were answered - you only need to complete for the Principal Applicant.
