Andrew Brit - update for spreadsheet - applied for my partner's notes under the Access to Information Act as we are located in UK. This was done Sunday, 8th November. Received a response from CIC on Monday, 9th November stating that they were processing my request.

Thank you.

Thanks gander, let us know when your parents receive it.

Edit: Regarding getting the request for passport scans, photos and updated information chart - I personally think think it is due to either location or perhaps the principal applicant's passport expiry.

I am looking at the 2014 sheet and the users who got that request. The majority have a Canadian location, but some have a non-Canadian location so either they moved to Canada and did not update the spreadsheet, which would mean that only those in Canada get the request, or it is related to passport and/or length of time from originally supplying photos to DM.

I sent London my new passport info in July so I am hoping that this negates the need for the request.

It's all slightly confusing. I sent my photocopies, two photos and info chart to London. My passport is valid until 2024 and I am still in the uk. My understating of the email (might be wrong) is that if you are still in the uk then you send it all to London. But if you and everyone names in application are in Canada and will get there for at least 3 months then you send it to Ottawa.
I think it's the wording that confuses people as it says two differ et things for London and Ottawa:

Appendix C - Submitting your package
A) To submit your package to London via courier or mail directly
.........
B) Submitting photocopies of your passport(s) in Canada (CPC-O):

If you and all the accompanying dependents on your application are currently in Canada and plan to be in Canada for at least three months, you may submit photocopies of your passport(s) to the Case Processing Centre – Ottawa (“CPC-O”). You are required to send the passport photocopies together along with a copy of this correspondence by mail or courier to the following address.

Checked my eCAS this morning around 11:15 a.m (Pakistan Standard Time), 6:15 a.m. (London Time), there it is "Decision Made". Certainly it was a long haul of 15 months, now waiting for PPR

Congratulations!!! Isnt your wife scheduled for medical next week?

Regardless... Really happy for you guys :)

Follow up to my earlier post.

My partner (applicant) got his British passport since we applied last year, we should probably send that info in with his final processing details eh? He is in Canada under that passport as a visitor and his Australian passport expires in 5 months. As a visa exempt, do they actually put anything physical in your passport when you land?

I figured that is a big change but I'm also nervous this is going to set the Ottawa office on a spin and delay our application further. But we should be sending details (passport copies) of both passports right?

Update: Got email from LVO asking for passport photos and copy of passport. Documents to be sent to LVO.

Photos should conform to Appendix B specs. Will be sending documents this week.

If i can ask from those who received similar request, did you photocopy every page of your passport or just the personal details? Secondly did you get your photos stamped by photographer at the back?

Thanks, no she had her re-med on 02 Nov and the PP sent results to LVO on 04 Nov. Actually I was behind their rear all that time, lols....

received this email today:

"As a one-off procedure, in order for our medical officer to potentially reassess the current medical results and determine whether an extension of your medical validity is possible, please provide the following:

- countries visited/country of residence since the date of your original medical, including details of all/any business trips, holidays/vacations or stopovers of any duration.
- details of any illnesses, however minor or temporary, since the date of your original medical.

If the medical officer determines that an extension of your medical validity is not possible, repeat medical instructions will be sent.

In order for us to continue processing your application we require payment of the outstanding RPRF. This fee is payable in accordance with the instructions in the sponsorship kit and on our website.

Please submit the requested fee receipt within the next 30 days."

Thanks elf, spreadsheet updated. I take it your medical was done before November 10th 2014?

I just sent a photocopy of the photo/info page. I didn't get the photos stamped.

My wife's file was transferred to London visa office in Sept 2015. It is showing "In process" since then. We asked them to transfer the file over to Sydney VO as my wife is Australian resident. They said they will process the file with the same timeline as of Sydney and that her file would be in active processing before end of this year. Not sure if that is going to happen or how practical is it. Any thoughts?

ahmadtajwer we need more information.

Is your wife an Australian citizen?
Is your wife currently living in the UK?

If your wife's application is being processed in London would you like to add the details to the spreadsheet? Link is in my signature. The spreadsheet is a great tool for tracking average processing time and other metrics. If so please provide the following:

-Date application received in Mississauga
-Whether you applied as Married or Common-Law
-Date of sponsor approval
-Which office is processing Phase 2 of your application (will say on your sponsor approval letter/email)
-Date the permanent residence status changed to In Process on ECAS
-Date(s) of any other requests you've had
-Whether or not the principal applicant is non-visa exempt
-Current location of the principal applicant- closest major city is fine if you don't want to be too specific!
-Date of medical exam

Hi Andrew,

Please add the timeline if you can :

The caveat here is that she is Pak national living in Australia as permanent resident which leads me to believe that it is the reason why her file was transferred over to UK.
She lives in Brisbane (Australia)

Timelines :
File reached in Mississauga : July 3rd 2015
Medicals done : 27th May 2015
First AOR : 10th Aug 2015
2nd AOR : 5th Sept 2015
File Transferred to LVO : 8th Sept 2015
In process : 17th Sept 2015

Hope that helps :)

Thanks, I have added you. In the future when you get updates from London such as documents requested or any communication, post in this thread and I will update your row in the spreadsheet.
