My spouse got an email from CiC london on Monday requesting for additional family information form and my babies birth certificate to be sent within 45 days, otherwise decision will be made using existing information on record which could lead to refusal of her application.

Thanks hila01, spreadsheet updated.

Logged in to ECAS today under my name instead of my wife. Noticed that ECAS has actually changed my address. I sent them a message back in September and got a reply saying it was changed internally, but this is the first time it has been updated online. I'm hoping this means that someones picked my application up! Anyone got any thoughts or is it just the usual randomness of London?

As the processing time on CIC is currently 28 odd months, does that mean that they will not respond to my emails or will they take the initial processing time when we applied?

Also, in terms of ordering notes, I am located in the UK so am wondering if anyone knows any reputable companies or organisations to go through to get notes?

The 28 month processing time applies; however, they do usually respond anyways.

I would assume that you or your spouse have family/friends in Canada? You can send a consent form to them to apply on your behalf for the notes.

My Permanent Residence Application Status has been updated to Decision Made. When I click into it it doesn't provide me with any other details. Any one know what the next step is? Is there anything I should be looking out for in the post or email?

Your COPR will arrive in the mail.

Quick update- I received an email from the Panel of Physicians that they have sent my second re-medical results to LVO on 28th Oct,2015.
I have also sent an email to LVO on 4th Nov notifying them that re medicals have been completed and if they have received the results.
I concluded the email by requesting an update from them in relation to my application

It will be interesting now to see how long it takes to get DM. Step son has re-medical on the 17th Nov.

One year to the day that my application was received in Missisuaga and I'm still on the road to nowhere. Will I ever get there? Starting to wonder if I'll have to return to Ireland after Christmas.........

Canuck in UK - thanks for your reply.

Andrew Brit - update for you, although not a particularly interesting one and not sure if this is the kind of info you track, but I had a reply from CIC to my general query asking should we submit a new police check and informing them that my partner had no illnesses in the previous year, etc, etc and received this yesterday:

Un Message En Francais Suivra

We have forwarded the information you provided to the responsible department. They will contact you only if they require further information.

Sincerely

Citizenship and Immigration Canada

I am assuming this was an automated response......

Beal Feirste: Hang in there. We too are fast approaching one year.....

Anyone have any theories as to why there are so many remaining 2014's not receiving DM's while so many 2015's are? I understand that processing is different in all cases, but I would assume our application follows the pattern of a relatively straightforward one so not sure why some get DM's in 7-8 months, while others are waiting so long........

The joys of immigration.......

I need some more advice. Before, I mentioned that my COPR was waiting for me in Canada as I had it mailed to my wife. I'm in Korea.

Now, we are thinking to just have it fedexed to me. Is this ok to do?

Secondly, I'm bringing a dog with me now. My mother in law is adopting it from a Korean shelter. Is there anything special I have to do as I'm landing at same time or is it just like taking a dog into the country normally?

Update!

Just checked ecas. It's decision made for my spouse! Expecting passport request next week.

My wife got a card from Royal Mail today but unfortunately its too late to go get it. Does CIC send the COPR by royalmail? It does say flat parcel and it needs to be signed. DM was last saturday

From the FAQ

If you are outside of Canada, then the COPR will be a signed-for document, so keep an eye out for a delivery notice slip from the postman. If you're in Canada then it will arrive by regular post.

Get it on Monday!
