Hello All,

I was "banned" for I don't know what. But I couldn't post or send private messages. Anywayz I have an update

WE GOT PPR MONDAY. 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)

Husband's med got extended, and I am hoping he will have the passport sent to VAC in London tomorrow morning (his time).

We are still showing "in Process".

Congratulations .. so so so happy for you !

If I were him, I would have sent the passport the same day. It got delayed again but this time he only has to make a trip to DHL so I am really hoping he sends it off first thing tomorrow morning.

Spreadsheet updated! Congrats!

Just to confirm what did they ask for? Visa exempt applicants do not need to send their physical passport.

Edit: A few people got banned yesterday, for no fault of their own. Glad you are back!

I sent an email to London on Monday and they replied with

How long will this take? I have 26 days before my employer in waiting gets bored of waiting.

That's what they have been saying to me for 2 months now... My initial assessment was made on the 11th of September and Upon inquiry on 6th Oct, that was what I was told... exact same line :-\ :'(

Its about time this officer got to work, eh?

Thanks Canuck in UK for the information and you are correct, I am probably over stressing about this - I pretty much overstress everything! When you say the length of stay is determined by CBSA on entry does that mean that, if I were to book my partner a ticket with a 6 month return date, CBSA could say no when we actually land at the airport???

Yes, CBSA can shorten the stay on entry. However, it's not a big deal, as your partner could just apply to CIC to extend the stay.

Outland Application form question.

Hi all,

Hope someone on here can give some guidance or at least some opinions. Applying Outland via London.

I'm born and brought up in England and spouse is born brought up in NZ and PR in Vancouver for last 20 years. Our parents are both of Indian heritage. Last summer I was passed an email address of my future spouse via an aunts friend. We got to know each other across the pond, have met up numerous times, fell in love and got married last month.

We are trying to complete our application and have sought the advice of a reputable immigration consultant. One of the questions asks 'was your marriage arranged, by who, when and where'.

The consultant is advising that we should say yes, by my aunt, last month and via email as our resposnes. Apart from forwarding me an email my aunt had no other involvement except turning up as one of our guests.

Any thoughts on whether we should take his advice....?

£15.75 service fees and £104.90 for courier to return back the passport.

Wait so you are sending the applicant's physical passport?

Yes because he has Pakistani passport (non visa exempt country). He is Denmark though.

He is a citizen of both Pakistan and Denmark? Or just Pakistan?

In the spreadsheet you are not marked down as non-visa exempt so I am just wanting to get your info correct.
