-Date of sponsor approval - 13th July 2015
-Which office is processing Phase 2 of your application (will say on your sponsor approval letter/email) - London
-Date the permanent residence status changed to In Process on ECAS - October 10th
-Date(s) of any other requests you've had - None
-Whether or not the principal applicant is non-visa exempt - Visa exempt

Just got COPR by email at 1:50am!!! OMG!! Whoop whoop!! :o :P :) :D ;D

Thanks blink, I doubt ECAS will update over the weekend, I know that it has in the past but I do not feel lucky! Please let me know if LVO request any additional docs (like passport scan, photos and updated information chart) as gander who got the same request as you was told he would be contacted within 10 days - not sure if they mean this is when they will send COPR out or they will request something.

Hi everyone.....just a couple of questions if anyone can help.

Application sent to Mississauga May 2015
Stage 1 approval in July 2015
Filing for PR outland as my husband still resides in England.

Request for medical in July, completed Aug 4, 2015.

Email recieved today requesting confirmation of medical also to go for his police check and to pay fees for PR. Does this mean that we are close??? Or just part of the process?

Thanks for any help at all!!!

Hi Andrew,

Damn.... We have had a request for more documentation. My Stepson (dependent of the applicant) had a police caution when he was 15. When we applied to immigration he had just turned 18 so we had to include a police certificate to disclose any offences. We have now been requested to send the police record of the incident.

They have also asked for more photos of him as well, but didn't specify how many, so we are sending 8 (again) as describe in IMM5562E.

Our challenge is we have to respond with all documents to CIC within 45 days (now 43 and counting) or our application may be refused, however the application for information on the Police National Computer (PNC) suggests that it takes 40 days in itself. Cutting it close! I'm planning to send the documents in two batches. On Monday we will send photos, cover letter explaining the incident, a copy of the post receipt for the PNC request, and a note about the possible delay for the police record due to the length of time it takes for a PNC request. We will then follow up by sending the PNC request when it arrives (hopefully before the 45 days are up). Has this happened to anyone else?

My recommendation to anyone that has any blips on their Police Certificate, no matter how small, to also request the police record for the incident ahead of time. We are stressing about the idea of our application being refused, but also upset that this will without a doubt add a minimum of a month onto our application.

On a more positive side... Go London! 14 DMs. Congratulations everyone! Happy Halloween.

i wonder if it's good or bad news though.
any ideas what's the next step?

My wife was planning to come here to wait for her PR. i guess it would be best for her to wait now.

I believe you should get an email either requesting her passport or as I did for a passport photo and photocopies of passport pages.
