Never thought the day would come but I when I logged on yesterday to ecas...it finally says DECISION MADE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The biggest scream from my wife echoed across Vancouver I think? Plus it was her Birthday yesterday...she said its the "best present ever!" I have to agree!

The biggest weight has been lifted... Believe me we had quite the night yesterday celebrating! The whole weekend will be a party! Will let you know when receive C.O.P.R.

Andrew Brit, Warzo, Taffy7 and everybody else out there I have everything crossed its your turn to wake up to those 2 words amazing words any day now...best of luck everyone!

-Date the permanent residence status changed to In Process on ECAS - 24th August
-Date(s) of any other requests you've had - None whatsoever.
-Whether or not the principal applicant is non-visa exempt - non-visa exempt
-Current location of the principal applicant- closest major city is fine if you don't want to be too specific! - Islamabad, PK
-Date of medical exam - 17 Dec 2014, notes say they are valid til 31st Dec 2015.

I believe you should get an email either requesting her passport or as I did for a passport photo and photocopies of passport pages.

From what i have read so far, there is no need to send the passport since she is from a visa exempt country UK.
fingers crossed the copr comes fast.

After being messed around for months over documents missing (they lost our uk police cert 3 times!!) I was extatic to wake up to a decision made today after 15 months of waiting.

A big thank you to everyone on here for helping me keep my sanity during this process and sending lots of positive energy to those of you still waiting, especially those who have been waiting for as long as us. Will keep you posted on what happens next.

I have taken a screenshot just to make sure I'm not dreaming. Honestly I can't believe this as last notes received this month said Eligibility, Criminality and Background Checks all NOT STARTED!


I have my fingers crossed for all, especially all 2014 applicants who have waited wayyyy too long for DM.
LVO this better be no glitch in the system.

Now its 20 months after the last time i was with my miss in Istanbul. Our application is still in process and there is not a ray of hope to comes to end soon. I am thinking to go to london to protest and seat by visa office days and nights maybe get a response.

Congrats for everyone who got DM!

According to the spreadsheet, October 2015 has the highest number of DM's since July 2013 (counting some of the DM's reported in this thread that haven't yet been updated in the spreadsheet). Of course some of these DM's are for Ottawa applications, but let's hope London keeps this up!

I am almost speechless at the number of recent DM's, on a Saturday no less! I am still in process though so my wait goes on!

Edit: The number of approvals in October have caused the spreadsheet's chart y-axis to adjust to higher numbers!

I am a Canadian citizen living in the UK with my British husband. I understand one of the supporting documents to provide is ' proof that you intend to live in Canada with your spouse....'. I am currently unemployed but my husband works and earns enough to support both of us. He has been in touch with recruiters in Toronto and has received positive feedback re job hunting etc. Could anyone advise what documents I can provide as proof of our intention to move to Canada?

Thank you Andrew, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that you get your DM soon. Judging by the timelines of people who had similar requests to yours of countries visited and illnesses since medical, I'm sure you are next.
