Hi paknew, I need to know the principal applicant's location, and I assume you are non-visa exempt?

Hi Andrew,

Thank you very much for adding my name in your spreadsheet. It is on row 208. The medical was done on October 2, 2014 and it has been expired on October 2, 2015. Further I wrote LVO and I received their response on September 22nd, 2015 as follows: After that there is no correspondance. Complete silence. However, I applied for GCMS note, then we will see what they are doing.

Dear Applicant,
Please be advised that this application has undergone initial review, and now awaits the review of an Immigration Officer.
We will update your records with the contact details provided below.
Yours Sincerely,

No apologies from the miss informed letter we received in July just a load of bull s*** quoting paragraph to why he needs to have a medical to come to Canada .. We should be landing next year sometime at this rate. MP quoted 28 months is the processing time for the U.K. yeah well i knew that ...

Taffy, am so sorry that LVO has been messing you about. Incompetence at its best. And not even an apology for their misleading letter. Disgusting. On the bright side, this seems to be the only thing missing so fingers crossed DM soon.

I contacted MP last month(who was also a former immigration minister) and we found out that his application is in background check. How long does background check takes?
My question is that is ordering notes and request from MP is the same thing or different thing ?

We have a 2 year old daugher as well .... i visited my husband three times since application submission.

Mary23 I require certain information which you did not include (such as which documents were requested).

Please provide the following and I will add you.

-Date application received in Mississauga
-Whether you applied as Married or Common-Law
-Date of sponsor approval
-Which office is processing Phase 2 of your application (will say on your sponsor approval letter/email)
-Date the permanent residence status changed to In Process on ECAS
-Date(s) of any other requests you've had
-Whether or not the principal applicant is non-visa exempt
-Current location of the principal applicant- closest major city is fine if you don't want to be too specific!
-Date of medical exam

Hello everybody.
I have applied for my husband for Spousal sponsorship.
My status shows that it's in process. I'm July 2015 applicant.
Who else has the same timeline? Also how long does it takes after the Application shows that it's in process?

Thanks for your help!

Hello, just an update for the spread sheet.

Received an email from CIC saying that medical results will expire 2015/11/20 and as one off procedure to report any countries visited or illnesses- that was Oct 13 2015

DM on ecas showing on October 26th 2015.

In a 6 week period we entered Canada 3 times under duel intent but only was asked for any proof of application/return ticket once, and that was the very first time entering - we were armed and ready with a file full of proof every time, the last entry though the guard suggested we stay in Canada if we can.

Hey blink, I love how casual you are! "just an update, we got DM, no big deal!"

Spreadsheet updated.

By the way yourself and anglogerman got the same request on October 13th, gander got the request on October 14th and I got the request on October 15th - the only difference being that you three have DM and I am still waiting! Did you respond to the email the same day as you received it, and did ECAS say that they contacted you on October 13th?

Also your location on the spreadsheet is London UK, whereabouts in Canada are you located now?

Yep we responded within 20 mins of getting the email.

I bet yours will update over the weekend - I have my fingers crossed for you xx

We have relocated to London Ontario.

Oh and I sent my belongings from the UK (I am the Canadian Sponsor) through UPS two weeks before I arrived in Canada. Sent them in two lots - first 4 boxes made it through no issues and the second lot sent a day later 5 boxes were held at customs until after I arrived and sent them a B-4 form stamped by immigration. I was told that you should never send things before you arrive LOL - just that little tidbit in case anyone was thinking of sending anything to a spouse or a parent before you arrive.

Oh sorry and no other lines Andrew-Brit on ecas
