anonapplicant: spreadsheet updated. When did LVO request a new schedule A, police check and passport?

Congrats!

sausageboyuk - No, unfortunately. This is standard procedure, it usually occurs a few days after you receive SA. It is good news though, they have not lost your medical results!

Ah that makes it so confusing. I had an extra line added over the weekend saying that processing started on 5th October if you would like to update the spreadsheet! :-)

Hey, just stay patient and focus on your end gain :)

we submitted our application in April 2015, anyway, since we were able to login to ECAS, i do so everyday several times a day, in the hope that it would change and say something different. We got surprised when it updated to In Process on 9th October.

Anyway, its moving along regardless of how slowly it may seem, and we can be thankful that the Islamabad applications dont appear to be affecting us too much.

If we get another status change before January 2016 then thats a bonus for me and my partner.

Just stay focused it will come.

Thanks DMinty! I really hope that there has been a really efficient change in the London office but I do understand that I have to be realistic. However, it is strange to see ecas notes pop up earlier than expected - ie. request for more photos and notice of medical results received.

I really hope it is through by April next year, but if not I think I will move with dual intent.

Today, I collected passport & COPR from VAC lahore :) :) :) :)

congratulations Smily - S

I received my COPR from the Post Office this morning as I was away last week and they have used my old passport number. Can someone please tell me who and how to contact them to get this changed? I am going to Canada early November and would love to have this sorted by then. Thanks

Hi gang quick update for us - checked ECAS on Oct 9 after a long while and my wife's app is showing as In Process. (LVO - we submitted April 24 2015)

Is this any cause for any excitement at all? Or just some mild eyebrow raising? :)

Spreadsheet updated. Since May/June 2015 CIC has been setting applications as in process on or shortly after receiving sponsor approval. You applied in April so it could be that your application is being treated as one of the old applications where in process means something, but time will tell.

OMG!!! 8 months to the day and we have Decision Made!!! :D :D I know it just changed today because I check every day. I am in disbelief. I even logged out of my husbands ecas account and logged into mine to double check, just in case there had been a blip! When I click on it, there has been no new lines added.

Wow that is fast, spreadsheet updated! Is it correct that you never actually had any request for documents, as the 2 documents requested (medical and Japanese police check) were sent in error?

That's right, nothing extra sent. They said the request for the medical was a 'blip' in their system and then they 'found' the missing Japanese police certificate (it was sent in a sealed manila envelope, by Japanese embassy, and I think someone was just to lazy to open it).

Not actually going to believe it until the COPR arrives in the post. Not sure how we managed to queue jump.

Who knows the inner workings of CIC but you are the third on the spreadsheet in 2015 to get DM so it has happened before. Please let us know when you receive the COPR.

I definitely will do. The spreadsheets you keep are so useful. Thank you.
