Hello all
Today we received this email from LVO. Apparently they want to interview me soon. If anybody knows or have experience please help me or guide me

Dear Applicant,

We are writing with regards to your application for permanent residence in Canada.

Please be advised that it has been deemed necessary that you attend a formal interview with an Immigration Officer. Due to the queue of applicants currently awaiting an interview, a time and date have yet to be arranged.

Unfortunately at this stage, we regret to inform you that we cannot provide a more detailed answer. You will be contacted once a schedule for interviews has been organized.

We appreciate your continued patience.

Sincerely,

Sorry to hear that. Spreadsheet updated.

I have little knowledge to offer but I know that other applicants have brought relationship proof and the like with them. It is tricky because the email does not say why or what they are unsure about, but you could bring proof like a lease agreement (assuming you both live together), pictures of recent trips/excursions of you both, etc, etc. Just like you did when you first applied.

Let us know when your interview is.

Some people have been able to read from gcms notes the reasons for interview. If you are already in UK, hopefully it won't take long for you to get an appointment. Notes are where you should start.

I just received this email from LVO:

I replied to that email with my answer and I also sent a case specific enquiry with the same info. As usual I got the CSE auto response but this time I never got the out of office reply from an actual person at LVO, so maybe my file has been assigned to someone else?

Spreadsheet updated!

Update. My spouse also got out of office reply from the same initial SF who is on holiday and will be back on the 19th. Hopefully will get actual reply from tuesday. We made an inquiry about status update and medical which expired on October 8th.

Spreadsheet update - So after 1 year and 10 days "in process" we finally have a decision made. I haven't received anything from LVO yet about photos or copy of passport. I haven't checked ecas for the last few days, so im guessing this was just updated. When I click on DM there are no additional lines as of yet so I will see how this plays out. (why do I have a feeling the wait is not over yet)

I submitted updated Schedule A, police check and a copy of my passport on the 22nd Sept 2015. (anyone who wants to know the timeline for documents submitted. I know this differs from case to case but just an FYI)

Hopefully its a positive decision.

First of congratulations. This is a positive news. You will receive COPR in the mail if you are from one of the visa exempt countries.

About 2-3 months ago, most visa offices back dated the "in process date" to when the file was originally received by the visa office. You may have been only in process for a couple of months. Mine changed to 'in process' on Aug 17th, but a few days later it was back dated to Dec 18, 2014. And this has happened to almost everyone.

Congrats again :)

Thanks Warzo. My application went to Mississauga first, I noticed on my notes it mentioned "out of scope for pilot" so it got sent to London but they actually started processing it there which is why i have been in process so long but the final part of the waiting game begins. I cant believe im saying this but I am kinda looking forward to going back to working my brain has gone to mush not being able to work here.

Oh ok so i don't need to submit a copy of my passport and photos. I am a british passport holder. I went back to England for a few weeks and changed my address back but I sent CIC an email this morning to update my address again as I am back in Toronto but if it does go to england its my parents place anyway :)

Hiya!

Update for the spreadsheet: My medical results have been received.

Do you think this means that my case is in process?

anonapplicant: spreadsheet updated. When did LVO request a new schedule A, police check and passport?

Congrats!

sausageboyuk - No, unfortunately. This is standard procedure, it usually occurs a few days after you receive SA. It is good news though, they have not lost your medical results!
