For all the spreadsheet nerds out there I spent the last 2 hours chasing down users who have DM but have not told us when they received the COPR. I filled in a lot of the values now, in fact over 82% of approved applications have the date the applicant received the COPR! This percentage includes recently approved applications so the figure should go up shortly once they receive the COPR.

Remember, once your application goes DM please stick around and tell us when you receive it.

Thanks!

Are you talking about bringing a suitcase full of cash?

No Andrew. What i meant is can she transfer all of her money to Canada via Transferwise etc even though she is still waiting for her PR? Basically, she wanna help to buy a bigger house using her proceeds from the sale of her uk residence. I'm just worried if this will cause a problem.

She can transfer as much money as she wants.

Awesome job with the spreadsheet, Andrew! It's quite an interesting dataset for a stats nerd like me.

I just received this email from LVO:

Dear Applicant,

We are writing with regards to your application for permanent residence in Canada.

As you are aware, visa validity is determined by medical validity, and for this application your medical results expired on 2015/08/30.

As a one-off procedure, in order for our medical officer to potentially reassess the current medical results and determine whether an extension of your medical validity is possible, please provide the following:

- countries visited and country of residence since the date of your original medical, including details of all/any business trips, holidays/vacations or stopovers of any duration.

- details of any illnesses, however minor or temporary, since the date of your original medical.

If the medical officer determines that an extension of your medical validity is not possible, repeat medical instructions will be sent.

Sincerely

I replied to that email with my answer and I also sent a case specific enquiry with the same info. As usual I got the CSE auto response but this time I never got the out of office reply from an actual person at LVO, so maybe my file has been assigned to someone else?

Spreadsheet updated!

I would send an email and attach the receipt , nothing else you can do. Don't wait because another day is not going to make a difference . Just do it . Then wait for your notes and see if it has changed.
Sent an email to LVO along with re-med receipt and reply of Panel Physician. Now waiting for their reply and / or notes to come, let see which ever comes first.

Got an email today saying that my medical expired, but as a one time deal if I provided a list of all trips I've taken and illnesses I've had since then they might extend it. Tried to reply to the email but it said that their inbox was full, so I sent it in a case specific inquiry.

When did you originally take your medical? Mine expires on Nov 6th, I emailed them a few weeks ago but I only got a response acknowledging my change of address. I wonder if I'll get the same email as you soon, since we're only 2 days apart on the spreadsheet :)

Oh.. I hope they grant you an extension. I am in the same boat as you or at least was ;). Hubby's was being reviewed for an extension. That was a month ago. We haven't heard anything since.

In our case we both went to Spain and Greece since Oct 2014.

When my SO was waiting for a work visa (years ago) after a successful LMO, the person working on his file went on vacation in the middle of July/August for a MONTH, his file was not transferred to someone else during that time. We were anxious as his current visa (then) expired October 2..

Unfortunately, there does not seem to be an underlying sense of urgency with files. :(

Well the out of office reply said he is away until the 19th of October for me, so I am not expecting a reply before then. I creeped him too on Linked In and saw his jobs etc. Are his initials SF?
I also got the out of office message from this same guy SF. So, I guess we will receive some response on Tuesday.

Andrew,

Anxious101 had decision made Oct 6th, PPR Oct 9th, and visa issued today.
