We sent an email to LVO yesterday, inquiring about receiving of re-med results and seeking their advice to do re-med again. This morning we contacted IOM (local Panel Physicians) that if they had forwarded re-med results. By evening they responded that they forwarded results on 02 June, 2015. We are really confused what is going on with our case, please suggest what to do?

We had no results from London from email. We emailed them twice asking if they had received our new medical. We only found out after we received our notes and it stated they had received them on the day the Panel Physician sent them . Its so frustrating when they don't response . Order your notes . That's seems to be the only way to get information.

For what it is worth my guess is November 12 (a year after London received my app). My wife's guess is October 31st (a year after SA). Any news from your MP?

Nothing from MP .I guess this election is putting a toll on their resources. I received SA august and since they have updated ESCA it says Nov 7th they started processing my application so lets hope its near . We could both received DM together lol . I hope its soon i want to go to NY and come back and land . Good excuse to go for a few days .Hubby just wants to cross the boarder and flagpole.

I imagine our applications are sitting on the same officer's desk!

Assuming I get my COPR I will drive down to the Alberta/Montana border at Coutts, flagpole then land! It is 3 hours away, Coutts is open until 11pm so as long as my mail arrives by 8pm I will try and land that day!

I like the strategy. You won't wait even a second more ;D.

Wish you both best of luck.

I select Pakistan as his birth place. I unfortunately never been able to login for him.

Do you know if anything can be done.

Its worth noting that my spouse, who was born in Wales and is Welsh was listed as English under the CIC website and the only way I was able to log in for him was to put "England" as his country of birth every time I logged in. Despite his birth certificate, passport etc all saying Wales.

Well he lives in Denmark so I tried Denmark too, and still no luck :(

Update- London has requested an updated ACRO. It stated the one on file was issued over 12 months ago which is correct with the original submission however we then forwarded an updated one dated December 2014 to mississauga January 2015. The file was transfered to London sometime in February

Should we:
A) resend the original ACRO to them dated December 2014

B) order a new one which will be a process given my spouse is now here on dual intent

Advice is appreciated. I did email them directly asking this but I received 2 auto responses. One was the standard we will reply within 28 days and one was an out of office from a named person at CIC maybe I just send him some cookies to speed it up lol

Thanks all just curious the best approach

Hi there,

Police clearances are valid for 6 months so sending them the one dated December 2014 will be a waste of your time.

It seems you will have to apply for a new one. I was in Canada when I ordered mine last August, I paid for the premium service and I had the certificate within a week from ordering it. It was not too tricky.

Edit: It could be that they never received the updated one, as it only needs to be valid when they receive it. When was the original one issued? What made you send in another one in December 2014? I presume you did so because you knew it had expired?

Spreadsheet updated.

Also I see you are in Calgary, if you ever want to go for a pint let me know! * Other drinks are available.

Thank you !! Yes exactly we knew it was expired so when we enclosed it we stated we would forward the new one as suggested by our lawyer(which is another story all together) We then forwarded it to Mississauga my guess is it was never attached to the original package and when the original package was shipped to London it did not follow. I don't know what the protocol is for forwarding documents afterwards.

The exact wording below is what makes me think we could just send the latest one we have???but one never knows for sure what they are asking for

Dear Applicant,

In order to continue processing your application, we require the additional documents listed below. Please send clear legible photocopies rather than the original documents unless otherwise specified. If the documents are not written in either English or French, please enclose a certified translation with a photocopy of the original document.

Original Police Certificate from UK

We cannot accept the police certificate on file, as issued over 12 months ago, the certificate provided, must be issued by the Association of Chief Police Officers for immigration purposes.

And yes we are in Calgary I have been watching for a Meet up as we missed the last one; we would for sure love to get together for a pint/vino. PM me and we can set something up...

So this will be the third one you will have to order? Ouch.

They ask for an original, so how do you still have it? Did you send a copy of it in December?

Yeah it seems like Mississauga may not have included the one you sent to them after your initial submission.

They mention 12 months so perhaps you could send them the one you have assuming it is an original. Send them a digital (scanned copy) in a case specific enquiry, asking if they will accept it, and send the original to them through the mail. Hopefully they get back to you but no guarantee with London.

If they do get back to you and say the one dated December 2014 is too old you will have to order another one.

Another meetup is a great idea, stay tuned!

Yes, we have already applied notes last month and hopefully will get by 25th of this month. May be by any chance we get any response from LVO. How about sending them another CSE / email and attach receipt of re-med and response from Panel Physician? or wait until few more days?

Hi all,

I think I posted some of this information before, but I don't appear to be on the spreadsheet.

-Date application received in Mississauga - May 4, 2015
-applied as Common-Law
-Date of sponsor approval - July 2, 2015
-London office is processing Phase 2 of application
-Current location of the principal applicant- London, UK

When I received approval as a sponsor, we were informed that my partner's medical was not complete. The medical was originally forwarded from the doctor on Dec 9, 2014. After a bit of back and forth with both the CIC and the doctor that performed the medical, it became clear that the receipt that we had been given for the medical didn't say "complete" as the tests were still being processed on that day. We obtained a new receipt from the doctor on July 10, 2015 and forwarded that on to CIC who stated "The new medical validity date is July 14th, 2016." So I'm guessing that they've given us a year from that new date?

Just this week, my partner's application status has changed to "in process" with the date of July 9, 2015. The status was actually changed we believe on October 13, 2015.
