Are you a Canadian citizen or a PR?

The photo specifications that apply to you are given in Appendix B of the country-specific guide. If you have a look, you will see no such requirement.

Thanks Canuck! I was told in the letter to follow specifications from here http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/guides/3998E_tempA.pdf which says they need a stamp - hopefully they accept these!

Morning all,

We (me and my Scots/Irish wife) are about to embark on this journey and have encountered the first of probably many questions. We live in Belfast and there's nowhere in Northern Ireland does the medical. Would she be grand doing it in Dublin? Or does she have to go across the pond? Thanks and have a Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

Hi there,

You can do the medical anywhere, so long as it is listed on this page after you have chosen Ireland, Republic of.

Good luck!

If you would like to be added please provide the following info, ensuring you supply the full dates and not just month/year.

-Date application received in Mississauga
-Whether you applied as Married or Common-Law
-Date of sponsor approval
-Which office is processing Phase 2 of your application (will say on your sponsor approval letter/email)
-Date(s) of any other requests you've had
-Whether or not the principal applicant is non-visa exempt

Last night we checked wife's (PA) eCAS and fourth line was added under her PR application column.
1. We received your application for permanent residence on September 10, 2014.
2. We started processing your application on November 12, 2014.
3. Medical results have been received.
4. We sent you correspondence on October 5, 2015. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.

We actually received an email from NDVO on Friday for another re-med, so is that the thing LVO is referring to?

Looks similar to the email we had for re medical . They sent an attachment with the remedical. We had to take this with us to the Dr and he would send it off once signed . Good luck

I ordered notes over the weekend, I will probably get them around Friday 13th November, hopefully it is not unlucky!

Lets hope you don't need them and you get Dm before then .

For what it is worth my guess is November 12 (a year after London received my app). My wife's guess is October 31st (a year after SA). Any news from your MP?

We sent an email to LVO yesterday, inquiring about receiving of re-med results and seeking their advice to do re-med again. This morning we contacted IOM (local Panel Physicians) that if they had forwarded re-med results. By evening they responded that they forwarded results on 02 June, 2015. We are really confused what is going on with our case, please suggest what to do?

Hi warzo.

Some applicants are never able to log in to ECAS.

Just make sure that for him you choose the country he was born in (England/Scotland/Ireland/Wales) instead if United Kingdom.

And you are probably aware but logging in as the sponsor shows the status of sponsor and permanent residence application whereas logging in with just the applicant's details only shows the PR application status.

I select Pakistan as his birth place. I unfortunately never been able to login for him.

Do you know if anything can be done.
