My husband's medical is being reviewed by the medical unit if an extension can be granted. I am thinking if they required any additional documents, they would have notified me by now.

I ordered notes Aug 19th, and haven't received them yet.

I hope for a decision soon. The baby is due exactly in 3 months.

Thanks I'm still checking to make a sure is still DM not a glitch haha after waiting so long is hard to believe ;)

I checked this morning and we have Decison made :o :) :) :) :D :D :D Don't know what to do with my self so happy right now!!

Go London! ;D :D

Hopefully is a positive decison.... ::)

Received an email today (21/09) saying my wife has received sponsorship approval :) :)

Our processing office is London.

My COPR arrived at my wife's house today (well it actually arrived at someone's house 2 concessions over but he hand delivered it to her..the correct address was on the envelope..could have been a disaster!).

I have until next summer to land but will be doing so in December. I have a few questions.

I don't want to take a chance with any mailing mess ups so I'm going leave it in Canada.. land as a visitor and then land at the border/office shortly after. Anyone done this before?

Also, there is some information that we updated and wasn't updated on the form (maybe cos it was too late when we told them?) like our marriage status (we got married in canada towards the end of the process) and our city of destination (Ottawa to Hamilton). When and how should I tell them about this?

also, this is an obvious one but condition 51 only applies after you land, right? I won't be living with my wife again until then.

That will be fine. You can just explain to CBSA that your COPR is in Canada and you will be flagpoling at the border.

Marriage status on the COPR can be corrected when you land. Destination city doesn't matter.

Yes, Condition 51 only applies after you land.

@ Sting - Congratulations - I am sure it feels great!

I am just wondering how long did the whole process take? i.e. from submitting applications to receiving the decision from London office?

My husband and I are looking into moving to Canada soon-ish and are working out the best way to get the PR application going. Not sure if applying from another city expedites the process? I am a Canadian and my husband is a Brit :)

thanks,
nb

nbpb, for timelines see the spreadsheet in my signature.

CIC selects processing office based on the applicant 's citizenship or country of residence. If you are living in the UK and your husband is British, your application will go London. If you were living in France, your app would either go to Paris or London, CIC would decide.

I'll try to do spreadsheet updates if Baby Schnooks lets me on the laptop later... Provided SuperAndrew doesn't beat me to it!

I ordered notes abt 34 days ago, and still haven't heard anything. Is this normal or should I follow up. In the past I have received them right at day 30.
