Send a CSE just to verify they got it. Sometimes they change the address on their internal stuff but it doesn't reflect on ECAS. The internal one is the one that matters.

COPR just arrived in the mail!!!

It was signed for, which was a surprise as I thought in Canada it just arrived normal mail.

This is kind of worrying. I kept my mailing address as my wife's address in Canada as I'll be living in a few different short term places here in Korea. I just trust the mail there more. Is this a bad idea if we have to sign for them now?

Just checked ECAS this morning and our application has gone into processing! Its been back-dated to March 5th, 2015, but today is the first time its shown online! Here I was thinking it'd be another couple of months before we heard anything!

Have just heard from LVO and they have sent me the email below. My question is: can I supply them with this information via email or does it have to go via normal snail mail?

Thanks in advance

Dear Sir/Madam,

We are writing with regards to your family-class application for permanent residence in Canada.

Please be advised that, in order for us to continue processing your application, we require the following:

- Please be advised that our medical department is currently having difficulty in tracking your medical results. In order to expedite this, please advise us of the date and location of your medical. The e-medical Information Sheet you have provided shows UMI # xxxxxxxxxx; please advise if your medical was completed under a different code. If necessary, please contact the Designated Medical Practitioner/Panel Physician where you underwent your medical in order to obtain further information.

Please submit the requested documentation/information to us within 45 days including a copy of this email as a cover letter. Please submit all the above documents to us at the same time, quoting your file number (shown in the subject line above) on all correspondence, including on the envelope.

Sincerely,

High Commission of Canada/Haut-commissariat du Canada

my file is transferred from Mississauga to London in June 2015. I sponsor my wife. I applied for her visitor visa and she got her visa and coming to Canada end of this month. My question is : does it help anyways in our immigration case, and when she is here what things I should do if later on London ask more proofs or anything.

Thnaks

Send it by email and a hard copy. If you want to triple your chances a week or so after sending the hard copy (so it has time to arrive) send a case specific enquiry and if you want you could attach the docs to that, or just ask if they received it. You may not get a response but its worth a shot.

Spreadsheet updated.

Please can I be added to the spreadsheet. I find this forum really useful. Hopefully I have provided all the information below. Thanks!

- Date application received in Mississauga - March 16 2015
-Whether you applied as Married or Common-Law - Common Law
-Date of sponsor approval - May 1st 2015
-Which office is processing Phase 2 of your application (will say on your sponsor approval letter/email) - Ottawa
-Date(s) of any other requests you've had - Nil
-Whether or not the principal applicant is non-visa exempt - UK - visa-exempt
-Current location of the principal applicant- closest major city is fine if you don't want to be too specific - Toronto

I do have a quick question as well.

When checking online, the Sponsorship Application Status says Decision Made and under it says:

We received your application on X
We started processing your application on X.
We sent you correspondence on X about the decision on your application.

However, the Permanent Residence Application says Application received and under it says:

We received your application on X.

But nothing else. A lot of people seem to say medical received or in process. Is this common? Do I just wait until it says 'in process' and as many people on this forum say, it will move along more quickly from there.

Thank you
