No worries SchnookoLoly!

I arrived back in Canada after 3 months of working in the UK. I had hoped to have my visa in time, but that wasn't to be. I entered as a visitor with my wife, officer asked what is our relationship, we said married, he said are you going to sponsor him, my wife said we are in the process of it, etc etc. He did not stamp my passport with a date so I have 6 months and I have a flight booked back to the UK in January in 2016, I hope by then I will be a PR!

Just a quick post in here to extend a huge thanks to Andrew for holding down the spreadsheet fort pretty much on his own the past month and a bit - turns out having a newborn leaves exceptionally little time for being able to sit down at the computer! I do keep up with this thread on my phone, but it's difficult to write responses on mobile, and I can't edit the spreadsheet on my phone. Congrats to everyone who has had good news, and nice to see lots of movement coming from London, finally!

Andrew - you rock. Cheers, mate. Hopefully I'll be less useless soon once little one gets on something of a schedule and I can get a bit of a semblance of life back! :)

I second that. Thanks for your hard work. Without the spreadsheet my wife and I would be losing our minds.

I'll be the third to thank Andrew... and the others that help us so much and keep us informed. Don't know what I would do without the spreadsheet. Great to hear you are back in Canada and I will be cheering when you turn green.

Same here, rooting for your turn Andrew to come soon!! Would really love to hear some of those in process to turn decision made.

Thanks so much - good to know :)

No; there is no limit; however, you have to satisfy the CBSA agent every time you come in that you are a genuine visitor that understands the rules and restrictions of being a visitor (no work etc...) and it should be fine

My second medical results were sent by the doctor to CIC via e-medical. I didn't have to send anything to CIC

Thank you !! i was just wondering because we received another email to do our medical .The medical was requested the 18th July we did the medical the 29th and it was sent via Dr on the 5th of August .. Fingers crossed

Does anyone know if this is a standard thing that is added to your ECAS after re-medical request?

"We sent you medical instructions on August 1, 2015. To avoid delays, please provide us the information requested in the letter as soon as possible. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
"

Just wondering as I had my re-medical done and the results were sent to them via e-medical a couple of weeks ago.

Hey Scotmoose I've got the same couple weeks ago! I've email Them a copy of receipt that I did re-medical. Turned out I had to do my blood test again and they had to wait to do it that's why they didn't send it to CIC. It was nothing wrong with my blood! but 5 weeks delayed my results. I didn't get any response to my email.

I checked with the panel Dr today to make sure every thing was ok. He said he passed with flying colours and sent results as class A what ever that means.

Hey everyone, I'm currently waiting on SA. My application was received on July 3rd. I have received AOR with this exact date. I went into processing on August 4th, currently a total of 64 calendar days since July 3rd. The processing times updated today - As of August 25th 60 days processing apps received on July 3rd. So as it's now August 4th should I be worried. I know that ECAS apparently only updates on Tuesday so could that be why? It was 61 days on the Tuesday just gone.

i wouldn't be worried, but since the processing time has passed, you can call CIC and inquire if your ECAS hasn't changed by Wednesday morning. i know my ECAS changed on a Tuesday afternoon and said that the SA decision had been made on the previous Thursday.. but the PR application portion changed on a Wednesday, so i don't think ECAS is *only* updated on Tuesdays. anyway, don't worry, but call on Wednesday if nothing has changed.

Hi there, I have added you to the spreadsheet. Please keep us up to date with your application progress.

Updated ECAS:

- We received your application for permanent residence on December 29, 2014.-
- We started processing your application on March 25, 2015.
- Medical results have been received.
- We sent you correspondence on August 25, 2015. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.

I prepared and mailed out the package on Friday providing them information and the documents they requested! What should I expect next :)

Next step should logically be Decision Made, unless they need more info from you. But cannot be said how log it will take, a month or two perhaps. What were the documents they asked you to send?
