Guys guys guys my PR application is in process!

I check ECAS every day so some time in the last 12 hours it has been updated. I know from ordering notes that my application arrived at LVO on November 11th 2014. The ECAS line reads:

We started processing ANDREW's application on November 12, 2014.

So my thinking that London is backdating in process dates to when they received applications seems to be spot on.

Funny thing is just this week past our MP was in contact with us and said there was no movement, background and criminality checks have still not begun and there was no bring forward date on my file. So I guess there was no bring forward date and an officer finally got to my file in the pile!

I am so happy! Checking ECAS for nearly a year now and to see something different is amazing. Now I wait...

Congrats!! so happy to hear this. Mine says processing since Dec 18, 2014. I don't know if I truly believe that because the last two notes indicated nothing had been started. I ordered my notes 3 days after the status changed to in process. I will hopefully get them a week from this friday. I will share what it says.

No you cannot. Add 30 days to the date when you first requested your first set of notes. Any subsequent requests for notes will be ignored within the 30 days from the initial request.

Thank you for clarifying. I was thinking there must have been more progressed since I ordered my notes, and they have added more comments or whatever. So I will receive a new set of notes exactly two weeks after the first.

If they are going to cancel my request, then I will just wait until next Friday.

Remember that they may have pulled your file/notes on that day, or the 21st, but they send them after a month, or they pull your file/notes after a month, right before they send you the notes. If it is the latter then your notes will include any updates which were added after you requested your notes.

Andrew ; just a quick question is there any value from what you have seen from ordering notes prior to being "in progress" ? I don't want to request them if it's just going to create extra work. Thank you in advance

yes, so I ordered them Aug 20th, and the updates will include notes up until Aug 21st. So I was thinking if Ordered them now, then there will be additional updates (if any) from Aug 21st until today. I guess, I will have to wait until Sept 18th/20th before I order a new set.

I have ordered notes 3 times previously over the year and the only use was in the first set. There was a note saying my medical could not be linked to my file. After reading this I sent a case specific enquiry to LVO and soon after that my medical was linked and in ECAS under the PR/my status it had the line about the medical which it did not before.

Other than that the notes do not really tell you much while you are not in process.

Well after 14 + months I checked ECAS an hour ago ( I easily check it 20 times a day) and I finally have decision made doesn't seem real and I think it's going to take a while to sink in! Can't believe it's finally done. Now to wait for the COPR paperwork!

Thanks Andrew and congrats to you going in process. I was also longer in process because of my remed, but if you don't have to do that you might get it much quicker
