Regarding the "missing" medical report there's a paragraph on the sponsor approval letter we got which is in amongst other standard sounding paragraphs.

We submitted the E-Medical Notification information sheet from the panel physician along with our application, so given the first line in that paragraph ("if you have not already done so...") assumed it was just a standard part of the letter and could be ignored.

For those people that ECAS has updated to show their medical report had been received - was this paragraph also on your sponsor approval letter?

Gander received SA ON march 24th . I would still send them the information because honestly i think they have lost it . Its quiet common for Mississauga to lose things. You have a copy of the emedical just scan and email the copy. You are better to be safe then sorry . Mind you i sent my husbands divorce certificate as i said and they have applied it to my file as sponsor's divorce certificate .. They are so inefficient its unreal .

So I sent an enquiry to London yesterday asking then to confirm that they recived my documents to issue my COPR, have to say Im so suprised finding an answer from them today saying that they indeed did recive them and that they have issued my COPR and that its already on its way to me here in Sweden :)

Last week I commented on here that our file hadn't been updated with 'medical received' despite the fact that we sent it with our application; someone suggested sending a case specific enquiry, so I have tried that and this was the outcome:

Sent enquiry using my (sponsor) CIC number, as husband doesn't have one. I got a response back saying

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is in response to your enquiry regarding the above noted file.

Please be advised that there was a glitch in our system which has been resolved and the medical for Mr. Jinks has been updated.

We hope this is of assistance.

We assumed this would have sorted the matter; However, after that my husband (applicant) received an email to his e-mail account saying:

These medical instructions are being issued since your application has been processed to the stage where medical examination results are now required. Please read these instructions carefully.

IMPORTANT: You are required to undergo the medical examinations within 30 days of the date of this letter. Failure to do so could result in the refusal of your application.

We have checked ecas (both mine and his, now that he has a number) but neither are showing medical received.

We are going to send another cse to see if we can sort it. Neither of us living in Canada, so ringing doesn't appear to be an option.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Not with my medical but with other forms . I was so upset when they requested the same form 3 months later i sent an email to Mississauga i just replied to the address that it was sent from i panicked and didn't know what to do. This was a Friday afternoon and by Saturday afternoon the CIC officer called me personalty to apologize, stating the same thing( a glitch in the system) . They also then sent me an email stating this .

Yeah have sent a scan of the information sheet to the Ottawa email address with an explanation.

Better safe than sorry, would be raging if it's sitting in an "awaiting medicals" pile just because someone didn't tick the right box.

Yep, we got married mid-process. Applied as common-law, included stuff in thea pplication of marriage plans (receipts for hotel and minister, etc). After we got married I just sent a case-specific enquiry and attached a copy of our marriage certificate. All sorted.

Thanks so much for the reply SchnookoLoly. Really appreciate it !!!

It has now been 301 days since I applied. I am hoping I do not hit the 400 day mark!

I sent LVO a copy of my passport this week, so far no response and ECAS for my part of the app still says Application Received, Medical Received.

Did you renew your passport is that why you sent them a copy. Hubbie coming end of August , will wait it out here until PR arrives.

Yes, as of July 27th 2015 it would have 6 months left so I extended it now rather than faff about later.

Hi Im not sure at what stage you are at? If your app is still at Mississauga you can call from outside Canada on +16139444000 and go through a bunch of options to talk to someone. Don't know if they will be able to help if your app is in London though but worth a shot maybe.

A quick update. Got an email from LVO yesterday requesting for medical tests to be redone as the current one expired in April.

;D yeah we are in process from July 15th. Hubbie needs a new medical and new photos. Have to be submitted within 30 days. Happy Happy Happy

update me yeah .. Hubbie went into processing. They sent him an email for a new medical . What was strange was they sent him a page off their website and honestly you would have just deleted it,but when you scroll down and inspect it we could see application status highlighted . Went onto ecas and it shows IN PROCESS .
