Okay, so then:

B) If you are a citizen of a country that is exempt from obtaining a visa to visit Canada under Regulation 190 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, please follow the instructions below regarding your passport requirements (To find out if you are visa-exempt under Regulation 190, consult: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/visas.asp#exemptions):

· Send a photocopy of the photo and personal information pages of your passport and of the passport(s) of your accompanying spouse and dependent children to our office in London.

Yes, Canada House is the right address I believe.

re-read the letter slowly. it's very clear. if you are from a country that requires a visa, then you need to send your physical passport. if you are from a country that is visa-exempt (which you are), then you only need to send a COPY of your passport.

yes i know....!!! thats why its confusing in 1 section saying you shouldnt travel for 4 weeks without passport and this section photocopy!!!

so let me confirm this - photocopy of british passport on personal page & 2 recent photo

YES! this form is standard for EVERY applicant that gets processed at london. therefore, some of the information pertains to you and some doesn't. if you don't have to send your physical passport in, then you won't be able to travel because YOU WON'T HAVE YOUR PASSPORT TO TRAVEL. If you just send in a photocopy, then you can travel freely wherever you want on your passport and ignore that information because YOU HAVE YOUR PASSPORT IN YOUR POSSESSION.

FFS.

They are telling you that IF you have to send your physical passport what the expectations are since you have to send the physical damn document.

Do YOU Have to send the physical document?! NO!!!!

It astounds me how one person who has managed to successfully put together a full sponsorship application - and get it approved - can be so thick.

Excellent!!!

can i go there personal and handle it in i only live 15 mins walk from LVO!! or i have to mail to them?

thanks all for your support

It's okay Loly, put down the knife!

Nishra, as has been stated at least half a dozen times, follow the parts of the letter that pertain to you.

It says to send photocopies, so send them. Please reread the last few messages as they have all the info you need.

Hi - My wife is a canadian by descent, my immigration was in process from June 2014 and in Nov 2014 we had our first baby outside Canada (I had applied for TRV for the birth of our child earlier in 2014 and since i did not get a visa, we decided that its better to have the first baby together in Pakistan)

We added our baby to my application immediately i.e in Nov 2014 only same month he was born.

Since my wife planned to go back to Canada with the baby while i stay back and wait for immigration to happen, we applied for our child's TRV in Dec 2014 and on Jan 31st 2015 got the visa for baby only.

On Jan 27, 2015 we got an email from London Visa Office for the medical of our child, which we did on 2nd Feb 2015 and my medical was extended by VO on Jan 28, 2015.

Now the question is, can my wife and child travel to Canada? Since my immigration case that has the child as depended is "In Process", what happens when we get PR and than subsequent request for passports for stamping the visas?

1) If my child travels before PR, can i only send just my passport for visa and land in Canada with my PR and my child's? is that legal?

2) Is there some clause that, all the dependents have to have visa stamped again even though they already have a valid visa to travel?

I hope i have not confused with giving so much information, but hopefully someone can answer the above queries so that we can plan accordingly.

Cheers
