Update: The application package has reached CPC-Missassuga today.

I have one question, what is the copy 2 of receipt. In my case I printed the pdf, filled my info (as I am the payer) and then enclosed in the application. To be in a safe side I attached 2 copies. That is what CIC is asking right??

I'm only going on memory, but I think part of the receipt was labelled "Copy 2" at the top, that was what you had to provide... but for me that was over 3 years ago, so my memory is a bit rusty!

Hey, just wanted to update that I'm now waiting for my decision in Helsinki, Finland, so you can update it on the spreadsheet.

Still now news, however, I did receive and email from London to reply my inquiry in January about my application. I was sure I wouldn't get anything since I happened to email the same day they updated the times on the website to 29 months! Just said that my application is now in queue to be reviewed by an officer. I know it's pretty standard reply, but it still felt nice to get some reply from them.

On the same day I left I got also my extension for my visit until December 2016, didn't know I could get such a long extension! I only got to use like two week out of it so it wasn't a complete waste at least :D

OK Updated, I assumed you let CIC know if your new address?

Awesome, thank you for providing this! I've added you. I'm missing two bits of info:
1) Which office is processing your application? The address of the office would have been on your sponsor approval email.
2) Where are you currently located? We track locations in the spreadsheet as it helps estimate mail times.

Glad you find it useful, and don't stress at all about the 29 months!! From the requests you've had, it certainly sounds like you aren't too far off of having things sorted out!! :)

Wicked, all updated! :)

For those that had a re-medical request, does the CIC send out an email when ECAS status changes from "application received" to "in process"?

Can anyone tell me what would be the best way to mail off my application to Canada from the UK (ex. any specific courier ?).
Thanks so much

We just used the Royal Mail International Tracked and Signed. Just be careful and choose the right address as one is a post box (which doesn't accept courrier deliveries) and the other one is specifically for signed deliveries.

Hey guys, on Feb 25th, I received my Sponsor Approval... then on the 26th, I received my request for my CSQ with a mistake in my address, THEN on the 27th, I received an other request for my CSQ with the mistake corrected. On March 2nd I sent off my application for CSQ to MIDI and today I get this in my email..

"Dear (NAME)

This refers to the Application to Sponsor a Member of the Family Class you submitted to this office on behalf of (NAME) and family (if applicable).
We are writing to you today as our records indicate that you received correspondence issued to you on February 26 and/or 27th 2015 in error. The Case Processing Centre – Mississauga (CPC-Mississauga) uses an automated mailing system, which on February 26 and 27 2015 mistakenly issued you this correspondence. Please accept our apologies for this error. The processing of your application has not been affected by this error. The CPC-Mississauga has been in contact with the MIDI and has alerted them to this situation. You should not submit an application for a Certificat de sélection du Québec based on the correspondence dated February 26th or 27th. Rather, please wait for further correspondence from CPC-Mississauga before contacting the MIDI. If you have already submitted your application, the MIDI will be contacting you shortly with further information."

I guess all I can really do is await further instructions... But has anyone else had this happen to them?
