I added you to the spreadsheet thanks, if you know it could I have the date you did your medical exams?

Awesome, thank you! My medicals were done on September 2nd 2014.

Decision made!!
Not sure why medical wasn't extended if they were so close to a decision.
Now more waiting...

It has been 11 months already for myself, still on the "Application Received" on the website...I was actually wondering does the embassy in London send any mail (as in postal) prior to the status changing online to "In Process"?

I changed my address from Cambridge to London and was few days late in sending the embassy an email to notify them of the address change. Perhaps I am being too paranoid but could any correspondence been sent to my old address?

No, they wouldn't have sent you anything by mail prior to your ECAS changing to In Process.

Hi all !
Just a little update ! :)
I received today my sponsor confirmation - 8th December and my file has been retained in Mississauga for further processing. Im keeping everything crossed that getting Mississauga is a good sign in terms of timelines !!
I only received as I said the sponsor confirmation today yet last week I received an email asking me to re-send proof of my medical ( I think I sent the wrong letter as proof originally ) - I have resent the correct form last week but Im taking this as a good a sign that my file has been opened already ...or maybe that is just wishful thinking ....lol!!
I am in Quebec so now have to file forms for CSQ which can take about a month so I know my file will be held until at least that is complete but I am an optimist and am hoping to be one of the lucky few that Mississauga processes like a crazy woman !! lol
Fingers crossed and good luck to everyone else in process !! ;)

Thanks as always!

If it has been over the posted 11 months you can contact your MP who can contact CIC on your behalf and request what the hold up is, but if your just around the 11 month mark it would be sensible to wait a little longer. It may be they are working on your case but have failed to update ECAS. Alternatively you can request your GCMS notes which might indicate where they are with your application.

Anyone getting processed in Ottawa have good news? Looking at the spreadsheet, there doesn't seem to have been much movement there in the last month or two...

I saw on the Ottawa thread that someone got DM who applied towards the end of June but apart from that not much happening. And I can't see too much else going on over the Christmas period either.

No not yet, my apps sent to ottawa even thought i requested to process in mississauga, there must be a reason why it sent to ottawa, i am british citizen but i was born in baghdad iraq moved to uk in 1998, maybe maybe the reason they process it in ottawa cos i wasnt born in uk?? dont know just guessing, the spreadhseet explained that there is only 2 apps have decision made.

Mississauga or Ottawa was not an option . London was your only option, it was up to the processing center which VO it was going to . Either way it will likely be much quicker than London. The reason they started using Ottawa or Mississauga was because London is overloaded with applications.

Hello Everyone,
This is an update (Andrew) .

I received my COPR in Toronto on October 16th . However there was an error so had to send back to Uk on October 20th Had already booked a vacation to the caribbean so left on November 2nd and did not recieve the COPR. Returned to Canada on Nov 19. explained to Officer at Toronto Pearson and they just printed it off the computers and I was landed. Did not even need the one at home to get landed.
Thank you to every one for all the insight. made the wait easier. Complements of the Season to all.

Gosh, London is overloaded? We applied through London so I hope that that doesn't mean additional wait time.. I guess we'll just have to wait and find out.
Our immigration consultant had sent a change of address about a month ago and that address has not been updated (to her address here in Canada) so she has contacted them again to see why the change was not made. Fingers crossed that they make that decision sooner rather than later, though with the Christmas season upon us, I suspect we will wait until the new year for sure.
