Decision made on my account!! Up at 2.45am looking after the baby and said I'd have a quick look.. Just incase! Ha! I only check 10 times a day... Hopefully it's not a decision made against me or anything. :)

Do they send an email now or something?

Congratulations! Glad you have heard! Right on the London average as well. They won't send an email, the next you'll hear is the postman at the door with your COPR! It's a signed-for delivery, so keep an eye out for a delivery notice, in case the postman comes around when you aren't in. Happy landing!! :)

All updated.

Excellent. There's a guy at the front desk who signs for everything as it arrives so that should be fine. Could the decision made be a negative one? It's probably unlikely as they didn't even request any further information or clarification.. Thanks!! :)

I received this in an email from CIC today:

Dear Applicant,

We are writing with regards to your application for permanent residence in Canada.

We can confirm that this file is now ready for visa issuance. We will shortly be sending out your COPR (confirmation of permanent residence) document to you in the post.

Please confirm your current mailing address so that it matches what we have on file for you.

ECAS still saying application received but finally some positive movement!! My medicals were extended until next September

Congratulations!!! It's about time.

Worst case just take a picture of it and send that. Just frame it well so it looks like a scan and make sure it's clear. My husband and I have done this for other documents on many occasions.

Okay all updated, and cool about your daughter - many people often make the mistake, so I wanted to check!

In the guide there's an address to submit a case-specific inquiry, and you can find the form on CIC's website. I don't have it to hand, but to find it I would just google it, which you can do. Try "CIC Mississauga family class case-specific inquiry" as your search, that's what I would do! The info is definitely in the guide, though.

Thanks so much for the help - finally found the case specific enquiry! The automated email reply is slightly confusing but hopefully someone will find our application now and let us know it got there ok and approve us.

I am curious why Mississauga is still emailing me for updated documents when my notes say it has been transferred to London . I am the sponsor , why not ask him lol . I have just read on here that the VO emails the applicant once sponsorship is granted . I received sponsorship in August 2014 . Yet they are still emailing me . I put my husband email address down on the application. I would still be doing all the paper work because he is allergic to it lol

there's a chance your application is actually being processed in Mississauga, even though they said it was transferred to london. also, it's been noted that CIC seems to be processing both applications at the same time in Mississauga, so that may be why they keep contacting you. It seems to be a common thing for applications staying in Mississauga.

What office was stated on your sponsor approval email?

I hope so because it seems to be faster than London. When i called them before i received my notes the lady at the center said it was in Mississauga still , yet sponsorship says contact London. You would think they would let you know lol what i am talking about its immigration . ;D

based on the experience of people being processed in ottawa, this seems consistent. there are people who are receiving PPR/photo requests from Ottawa, when their application was suppose to be somewhere else. i suspect now that your husband's medical issue has been resolved, your application was put into the "non-complicated" pile. :)

Your app was filed around the time that applications started being redirected to Ottawa and Mississauga, so I wonder if your SA letter was issued with London on it, then they changed their mind and held it in Mississauga after that? Not certain!

No medical issue . They had the date of my step son wrong so they thought he was a dependent . 1 is 1 isn't. Both not coming. So they gave me 45 days to comply i did then they asked for an update of schedule A for my husband and non accompany child again ,another 45 days to wait .May be its in Mississauga ..
