Hey,

Is it possible to get added to the spreadsheet?

We are CL, app received 7-7-14.

Thanks :)

As much as I hate waiting for news about our application (STILL waiting to find about yay or nay on waiving the Dubai police check) it's nice to see so many get their approvals. BIG congrats!! :)

A trivial question, I am currently awaiting for my PR decision from the London office, hopefully soon, after the PR decision is made (I am checking the status online), what are the next steps? do I need to visit the embassy or receive a mail, or is it all electronic before I can land? Many thanks all,

From your previous posts, I can't tell if you hold a visa exempt passport or not. If you are visa exempt, you will recieve your Confirmation of Permenant Residence in the mail once a decision has been made on your file. If you do not hold a UK or other visa exempt passport you will get a passport request by email from the Visa office, and once you send in your passport they will affix a visa into your passport, and send it back to you along with your COPR.

Thanks, that's very clear now; for the record, I hold a Lebanese passport, so not visa exempt. Thanks again,

I would like to be added to the spreadsheet please.

App rec'd: July 16th 2014
Status: Common Law
Visa Exempt
And I am in Whistler, BC.

Thanks to everyone who runs such a great resource!

I received my COPR yesterday, the 18th of June. All I need to bring to the border is the forms they sent me and my passport, is that right?

Does anyone know if it is quicker to go to the border and get it done, or go to the local immigration office? I live just outside Toronto.

Yes, that's all you need. Going to the border is faster. You could wait for months to get an appointment at the local office.

Congrats!!

I think I'm now the only one left on the spreadsheet who hasn't received copr yet

I did read somewhere that it can take up to 3 weeks to arrive so I guess I'll keep waiting

Hey all!

Quick question-
Once you receive copr, how long do they give you to accually enter Canada before it expires?
I think I read somewhere here that you only have like 30 days to enter canada but I could be wrong?trying to figure this out before we go making any future plans!

Thanks all!
